The restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holidays which makes everything so much fun! The food was fantastic! I wanted something local and considered safe and this fit both of those wants. I think the price of the food is also amazing! I love that the staff is kind and friendly! Will definitely stop by more often

The papusas, chile rellenos, rice, and salsa are all delightful. We came last week and enjoyed it so much that we went back today. You can tell the place is popular because we arrived right before the dinner rush and then the place filled up before we left.

We came here for Valentine’s day and I understand it gets busy but everyone around us got their food before us, even people who ordered half an hour after us. Not only that but none of the servers came over to check on us while we were waiting for food. The kid who was bussing the tables was the only one who checked on us like twice.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ El Mexsal: Where Flavor Throws a Fiesta
El Mexsal doesn’t just serve food—it serves vibes. From the moment you walk in, the smells alone let you know you’re about to have a very good time. The food comes out hot, fresh, and packed with bold flavors that clearly didn’t come from a shaker labeled “mild.”
The menu has all the classics done right—tender meats, perfectly seasoned rice and beans, and salsa that makes you keep reaching for “just one more chip.” Portions are generous, prices are fair, and every plate looks like it was made with pride (and a little love).
The staff is friendly, fast, and makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Whether you’re there for a quick lunch, family dinner, or margaritas with friends, El Mexsal delivers every single time. Come hungry, leave happy, and start planning your return before you’re done eating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ️

The best thing from this place are the pupusas. The rest of the menu is decant. They’re pretty busy. So the service is very slow. If you want your drink refilled. You have to hunt down the server. It’s a pretty popular place. So it gets a little noisy. Here’s a picture of the burrito. I forgot to get one of the papusas.

They updated their menu! Pupusas were great! Our waiter was very nice but it took a long time for us to get water refilled. Best place to go for pupusas and they give you yummy chips and salsa to start!

My family wanted to have an experience eating pupusas. The server was very kind, but the pupusas were not anything special. We ordered the “revueltas” ones and they were fine, but that’s it. We also ordered other dishes including burritos, a torta, and enchiladas; and those were also just okay. It’s very typical high grease low quality food, but hits the spot if you’re craving it and nothing else is open. We probably won’t return any time soon.

Really good food. The bean and cheese pupusa was really good. The cheese enchilada was okay. I’d try something else next time and they have several vegetarian options to choose from. It’s looks small from the outside but it’s a pretty big place. We went at 5:30 on a Wednesday and it was already pretty full, but we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The server was great, very attentive and the service was fast.

Used to go at least once a week and had the most exquisite Salvadoran food ever. Now the place sucks, prices seem unevenly matched for the plates and their specials are all scrambled egg dishes. Miss the original owners and recipes.
