I ordered the Taquiza party tricolor for taco Tuesday party I hosted and I’m very pleased with the food it was delicious and they serve a lot of meat, with all the sauces, some spicy and some mild also it came with the limes, rábano and cucumber. Everything was great, I enjoy the food and the customer service was amazing! Thank you

This place is everything. Service and staff were amazing, food was phenomenal and place was outstanding! I loved every moment being here. I got the horchata and lemonade and were they delicious that I got the horchata two times! Got the birria quesadilla and burro and best decision. If anything I would’ve change the fries for the chips (even though they gave us chips and salsa). Definitely coming back here soon!

We really enjoyed our meal and the wonderful service. Staff was very friendly and inviting. Answering all our questions about menu items and notifying us it items on the menu were spicy.
We had the enchiladas with rice and beans, steak taco, chorizo taco and chicken taco. Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot! Plus chips and dips were included and delivered as we were seated. Their house sauce with the chips was fantastic!
Love having a great local Mexican restaurant in town. Very welcome addition that we will be visiting often.

In between real estate appointments, I stopped at El Mexicano Tacos El Gordo 2 for lunch. What an amazing restaurant and experience. The decor and ambiance is one of a kind. We ordered the Taquiza to sample a variety of the tacos. All I have to say is WOW!! The Al Pastor tacos (pork and pineapple) were the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The birria tacos were rich and absolutely delicious. I also loved the tacos de charro. The steak was tender and the onions were sauteed perfectly. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend giving this place a try! Also, they have a private room for parties or meetings.
Ps… I never take bathroom pics, but I had to this time! The design of the restaurant is even seen in the bathroom!

Best Mexican food in Mercer county for sure. It was simple and clean. Not overpowering flavor. I know alot of people have had their opinion about the food. Try it for yourself! The ambience is a vibe for sure! Wishing them well on their new journey. Worth trying! Support a locks business by experiencing it for yourself.

Had a great experience at this location. I will be returning to try more menu items. Some prices are a little higher than some of the other next places in the area but service and food were very good! Free chips and sauces with table service. Very nicely decorated and lots of seating.

Wifey and i popped out on a Sunday date nite and decided to go to El Gordo Taco know to us in highschool in the eighties as Parkway Pizza it was like going “Back to the Future” without a Deloreon. I had the shrimp burrito with fries i have to admit as a foodie and a restauranteur the burrito was on the smaller side compared to other Mexican restaurants in the surrounding area but was very tasty. Wifey had the barria tacos with a large Horchata & i had a Pina colada but my dumb arse forgot to bring my 151 rum airplane bottles. The Food was good I would definitely return to try another menu item. We love to support small biz and form our own opinions about restaurants. The only possible small speed bump I could see for this establishment is the language difference but at least it’s truly authentic so maybe I need to learn more Spanish . Decor is amazing with a mix of Mexican charm and the strong skeletal structure of Parkway Pizza from the floor to the brick wall and pizza ovens. Good luck guys I tried to buy this from “Grace” but it wasn’t meant to be. Much Success in your future and sell the back lot to the highschool you make a mint! If you own it just put my 20% to the side.
