I can understand if you are short staffed and you are running behind on food, however, please let the customers know instead of hardly even coming up to the table except for only refills and more chips. we waited for over an hour for our food, no word about it at all, and when we finally ask where our food is and we get the response, “good question, we’re trying to figure that out right now” feels just a bit insincere. on top of that, we got our food about 3 minutes after that interaction and it was cold. on top of everything, we were watching families that came in after us leaving because they already got their food and ate and paid. like I said, I empathize with the workers being short staffed. It would’ve just been nice to at least get updates on our food or something other than a refill.. Last but not least, when I opened my brand new WRAPPED silverware, my fork was dirty and had dried rice in it. I would’ve said something about it to maybe get a new fork or let the workers know so they can avoid things like this in the future, but as I stated we hardly were even talked to. I never ever make reviews, but I felt I needed to share this experience. Food despite being cold, was good though.

We have been here a couple times. It’s one of our new favorites! The service is quick and friendly, we were seated quickly each time. The margaritas are one of the best we have had. The cheese dip is excellent and food portions are large, even the lunch menu items. Great value for the price. The place is clean and so are the restrooms. We will definitely be back!

The service and atmosphere is great and the food tastes pretty good. The only problems we had was their margaritas barely have any alcohol in them and they water down their Queso dip. When I mentioned this, they offered to add more alcohol but at an extra fee and they claimed the Queso was so thin due to the temperature being so high. After paying the extra for the alcohol, the magarita tasted normal. As for the Queso, we let it cool down until it was room temperature and it was still as thin as water, thus debunking their claim.
This place has great service and a wonderful atmosphere. If they didn’t over charge and under serve their alcohol and their Queso wasn’t watered down, they would be a perfect 5 stars.

New to the area but I saw that Mrs. Young (my sister) had given it an excellent review so I thought we’d give it a try. We (party of 4) arrived around 8:30 and were quickly seated. The waiter was very attentive, polite and patient. The decor could use a little remodeling but the food, service and portions made up for that. About 9:10 another party of 4 arrived and I noticed that they were welcomed just as warmly as we were (they close at 10). That’s service you don’t always see. Definitely would recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

Stoped by for quick lunch. They greeted and let us sit. We got our free chips and salsa. Hot and mild salsa and both were delicious. Ordered our seafood and the food came pretty quick. They made sure to check on us if we wanted anything else and filled the water glass frequently. Enjoyed the food. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking space.

Portions were huge, resteraunt was clean. The restroom wasn’t available. They have 1 for men and 1 for women. There was a wait for both. Everyone is friendly, the food was ok.

Food was more 3 1/2 than 4. I had the chicken quesadillas and I sampled some food from my tables dishes most of it was good Not Over the Top the restaurant has good character!!! The selling point of this restaurant, what is thier Country $7 Bud Light Pitchers our table had 2, of there large Pitchers. Cheap beer always makes food taste better

Tonight was not a good night for dinner. She finally took our drink order.thrn dinner. We waited over 1 hour and a half for food! When question a waiter about it our waitress stepped with a big attitude saying the was a sign ( very small print) on the door saying they were short staffed. We have been regulars for a long time years! Never had such a bad experience here. The complete staff was new. Not sure what happened to our regular waiters /waitress. We paid for drinks and cheese dip then found dinner else where and will not be back!!

Our server was extremely kind and very attentive.
He warned my daughter about the spicy shrimp she ordered (get the sauce on the side), but she loves spice. She loved it. I loved it.
It was just right. It’s not too spicy to where you have no taste of the food and only pain.
The food was absolutely amazing!
We will most definitely be back!

My sister & I go here a couple of times a month, and they treat us like we’re part of the family.
All of the staff are so nice.
Each one of them come by and ask how we’re doing.
My sister dropped about $500 in cash, and one of the servers kept the money in their safe until we came back in!
Now that’s caring.
She thought she had lost some money, but she didn’t know where. She felt she would never get that money back, but thank God the staff is honest. She has cancer, and that money was needed for doctor bills.
She was so happy when the waiter came and put the cash on the table!
That’s how great El Mexicano is…
