DEF NOT a Russian Spi
We like the Quality of the Food here. And they’re open later than some of the local spots so that’s convenient. Especially after shopping or church. The Servers are nice. They even have Non Alcoholic Margaritas. The atmosphere is laid back and the menus are SUPER nice. Almost Luxurious. The bathrooms are clean and there’s plenty of parking. (In the strip mall and Walmart plaza)
Good amount, and quality of food. There’s also many options. It would be a tie for La Fiesta on Western. I think this place IS just 5-15% more expensive. Our bill was like $70 when we went the one time. And $50 the next. And La Fiesta usually costs around $45 for Two and the baby.
They are kid friendly with high chairs and whatnot. Just be careful… if you have a Rambunctious 2 year old like I do… the booths are easy to climb. LOL.
My Recommendations:
-Try the Alcohol Free Drinks…they’re flavorful!
-Mexican Tacos
-Chimichangas

-Clean bathrooms
-Plenty of Parking
-Good, Quality Ingredients and Food
-Nice Ambience
-Good Location

Eat there tonight with the wife. 3rd time being there. Very clean, the service was excellent as always. Literally sat down waiter quickly brought out hot fresh chips and salsa within 3mins, food was very good and huge portions. I had the steak and cheese tacos the rice was so good. Waiter was amazing didn’t catch his name but he was the best. Thank you for the great food and service as always. We will be back.

Had not been there for a few month but went there on a Wednesday in late February. Was not impressed with what I thought should have been a simple brunch plate, huavos con chorizo. Couple of overcooked scrambled with maybe.tablespoon of burnt chorizo. The side of beans were just plain, lightly seasoned pintos. $11.50 of tasteless nothing. Asked what had changed with the place and was told they had new management. Apparently trying to save money while sacrificing quality. mentions the quality to our server but she just shrugged and said sorry. I have never been cheap when it comes to eating out and tipped the server well. Unless the get back to their original quality we won’t go back.

Very delicious and warm food. The service was of great quality and always around if needed. There are no issues with bad habits and a very clean establishment. A good environment for the family and some entertainment to boot. My only hangup was how eerily quiet and low. I guess we would say the “ambiance” just wasn’t quite striking enough for my tastes. However, don’t let this discourage you from trying to eat here!

Salsa had a good consistency and flavor, poblano chicken was decent- chicken tough, rice no flavor, ceviche was HORRIBLE- pretty sure it was just boiled shrimp tossed with tomato juice and onions.
Service was nice and quick.

We eat here several times a month since we moved to the Halls Crossroads area two years ago or so. We tried several other Mexican restaurants in the area and always come back to this one as our favorite. Good food, reasonable pricing, and service is usually good as well. Like I said ,our go to Mexican restaurant in the Halls Crossroads area.

An excellent example of a fine Mexican eatery! Wonderful staff, and they make the best fried ice cream around. I’m partial to tacos, and their shredded beef and chicken tacos are flavorful and very generous. Let’s not forget the chicken tortilla soup, amazing & VERY generous! Hubby likes the fish entrees. Service is always friendly and attentive. Good prices. Highly recommend!

Our server was very pleasant and efficient. No wait time and food came out in a timely manner. Food was good but very plain tasting. (Had the taco salad) Mediocre for a Mexican restaurant in my opinion. Restaurant was clean and inviting.
