Really authentic carne asada tacos, huge delicious filling burros for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We love the service, such a friendly family that runs it. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your food inside & outside. We LOVE the food, atmosphere & service. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s a little slice of Authentic food like you would get across the border right there in pima AZ! Grab your favorite flavor of Jarritos flavored soda or a Mexican coke in a glass bottle to wash it all down. It’s amazing!

This is the absolute BEST place to grab a burrito in the Pima area. Everything on the menu is delicious and made fresh. The service is always friendly and accommodating. Found this place by accident on a motorcycle trip in Arizona about 7 years ago and still remeber the awesome Carne Asada Burrito I had as it was amazing!!! It appears they moved into a larger building then the previous smaller blue building. That building if you blinked your eyes you’d miss it! Getting gas passing through town I was told to look for a small joint with Tow Trucks or Cabs parked outside it. Really great place and I’m glad it appears they are doing well!!!! Silly I am writing a review 7 years later but I never forgot the joint!

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place food wise but just like all the other mom and pop shops in this town they work hours that aren’t conducive with people that work a regular 9 to 5 in town, there always closed. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to give them a shot and there closed.

The absolute perfect mom & pop restaurant we all look for. No big advertising, no big chain, just dang great food. I can eat 2 burros with no problem. Here 1/2 to 3/4 and I’m done. It’s worse because it is so good I just want to keep eating. Can honestly say I have never had a bad meal or experience.

Having tried all the mexican food in the area, I was on the hunt for something new. After a quick search I found this place in Pima with outstanding reviews. I arrived within an hour of closing to find the parking lot completely full. They have a banner out front advertising their ‘order online’ website… however, I decided to call in. This can be a problem at some places, but not here. I was greated by a friendly voice who was fast at taking my order. Not only that, but I was asked when I wanted my ‘Zarape fries’ made since they would be done faster. My food was packed to go with plenty of salsa, napkins and a fork for my fries. Everything was better than I expected. I inhaled the Zarape fries (those are a must try), along with their new surf and turf burrito. This perfectly made tortilla came packed with steak, guac, sour cream, cheese and plenty of good sized shrimp that I looked forward to in every bite. Everything tasted on point and I definetely felt that I received my money’s worth. Looking foward to my next visit.

Not sure what has happened but last couple of visits the food is overpriced and this visit bought tacos and a dozen tamales. The tacos were good but the Tamales taste “off” & bad..I’m going to have to throw them away, they just don’t taste right. We came right home and they haven’t been sitting out. Just so disappointing.
