Ordered take out this evening. My husband and I decided to share the Pina Loca. The website description did not state that it came with rice, beans, or a salad (glad it did!), but also did not say that it was served in half of a pineapple. The taste was good, presentation was good, but the portion size was definitely not sufficient for two as advertised (my husband could’ve easily eaten this meal in its entirety in one sitting, but I will admit that he is a hefty eater!). For comparison, I usually get the chicken fajita and have a ton leftover. The Pina Loca was roughly 1/2 the portion size of a fajita (I scoped 1/2 of the pineapple filing onto my plate as you can see in the picture).
We also ordered the kids meal with a beef taco, rice, and beans. These portion sizes were great!
Lastly, we received one tiny container of salsa and about a half a bag of chips for our family of five (Other meals not pictured were: quesadilla and taco quesadilla combo.)
All in all, we were satisfied and would consider ordering from El Maison again, but we would definitely reconsider our choices.

We escaped the freezing cold for a cozy, delicious dinner tonight. The birria tacos were incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfect for warming up especially dipped in that savory consommé. Fast, friendly service made it the perfect spot to thaw out. We will definitely be back! Ask for a side of chori queso with your chips for starters.

The service here is exceptional. The food quality is great. You can order drinks to go. The manager is kind and so is the entire team. One of the things I like about ordering here to go are the sturdy plastic containers and brown paper bag with handles.

I’d say it has the city’s best tacos. Pulled pork and beef were juicy perfection, nachos were properly homemade, sauces on point. Thank you for these wonderful delicacies that the employee recommended to us. And that passion-fruit margarita – still thinking about it. We came twice in two days.

First time here but have driven past it a million times and aleays seen it was packed. Decided we would stop in and see what it was about. We got seated rather quickly on the patio. It was a beautiful evening. Food took a while to come out, cups sat empty and really had to stop the waitress for a refill. Food was a 10 out of 10. Some of the best we have tried. Over all I give this place a 8.5 out of 10. If your new to the area or just looking for good Mexican give this spot a shot.

El Meaons is a really good Mexican restaurant it’s not the best you’ll ever have but it’s a great local place. The tacos are Excellent and the loaded Fries are really great as well. The fresh made margaritas are really good as well. They come in a variety of flavors and are quite strong. The classic Margarita here is not a typical lime however its a mix of orange, lemon, and lime. So it reads as more geneeic citrus. Alsp, this place is really tiny on the inside most of the seating is patio based. So there is a good chance you will be seated on the patio. The worst thing here is just how slow the service can be. Food takes a long time to arrive and so do drinks. But you’ll still be out of here within an hour.

Wow wow wow what a restraunt!!! The taco deal on Mondays is really unbeatable, 1.50 for a taco with all the toppings on it is a pretty unbeatable deal nowadays, and the food is very good and authentic Mexican. The service is also great, our server kept our waters filled and our chip baskets stocked the whole time, what more could you want from a restraunt?

The BEST Mexican food I have ever had and that includes food in Mexico. . I would say the standout would be the fresh spices they incorporate into each dish.The Chipotle Tacos are AMAZING another standout all Shrimp dishes! Large shrimp cooked perfectly!
Their hand mixed Margaritas are amazing. Service was A+++ . The patio is also a plus now that summer has arrived.

We visited El Meson for Valentine’s Day and the vibe was spot on—they were playing awesome Mexican love songs on Spotify that really set the mood. The service was attentive without being overbearing; they were there when we needed them but didn’t “hover.”
The portions are incredibly generous. I had the shrimp and my wife had the chicken fajitas—honestly, we could have easily split one order and still had leftovers to take home! The drinks were delicious and the menu is extensive (they truly have everything). We finished with the Cinnamon Crisps with chocolate and whipped cream, which were excellent, and the coffee was surprisingly fresh. We will definitely be returning as often as possible!
