My partner and I visited for the first time yesterday for a late dinner, and it was absolutely lovely! We ordered frozen strawberry margaritas, the medium guacamole, and both steak and al pastor tacos. Everything was delicious and tasted so authentic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. A wonderful local Mexican spot , we’ll definitely be back soon!

First time here. Had to stop at the impressive Schaumburg library and found this place. Cozy indoors as well as outdoor seating. Despite what seemed a lack of staff, the two gentlemen working did a helluva job working through all the patrons. We were seated and served quickly. We ordered tacos and soda. But it looks like the favorite drink there are their margaritas. Definitely will come back for those and their other fare. Ample parking.

This was our 1st time here. Anna was our server and she was wonderful! The chips and Salsa were fresh, the queso was warm and cheesey and the Cupid Margarita was awesome. We had the chicken fajitas, carnitas tacos, ground beef tacos and a beef burrito none of which disappointed! You must try the fried ice cream and the churros! It was great and we will be back!

My parents and I stumbled upon this local restaurant. Really cute, clean establishment… and the food was delicious!! Definitely recommend… authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood.

El Mero Mero is probably the best Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to. The food is great. Anytime we go to another Mexican restaurant we say ‘it’s good but it’s not El Mero Mero’. My husbands go to is the Carnitas dish and I LOVE the grilled Mahi Mahi tacos. The Sangria and House Margaritas are fantastic. The Enchiladas also need to be mentioned . The service is also wonderful. We come here regularly and the quality is great each time. Highly recommend!

We met some friends for dinner on Cinco De Maya. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The server told us that due to lack of staffing,service would be slower than normal which was fine for us since we hadn’t seen our friends in a while.
My wife had their Margarita special which was a very small portion. I had a Mexican beer. In my opinion,drink prices were a little high. They gave us complimentary chips and salsa but the portion of chips was small for a table of 4.
We started with the Ceviche which was very good. We asked for chips and our server said to use the ones on the table which was odd. He later brought out more chips after we were done.
My wife had the Mexican Chopped salad. Adding avocado or a protein were additional. I had the Tacos Camarones al Tequila on flour tortillas. Rice and beans were extra. Very flavorful but messy. I had to eat with a fork and knife!
For the money,I feel there are many other Mexican restaurants in the area. We might give them another try when staffing is not an issue.

The food wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. The waitress was too busy talking with someone at the bar and didn’t check on her tables. I went during a Saturday around 2:30pm. Maybe this place is more for an evening out for cocktails, but the food was disappointing as well as the service.

Great food, Great atmosphere and even better service. Had tacos AL Pastor, they were delicious. My wife had Carne en su Jugo and says it may be better than the one my father makes…which says allot. Definitely will not let him know about that. Started off with the large tiger shrimps in a spicy garlic sauce (they were also very tasty). Had our meal in the patio and it was just the perfect day to be outside. Will definitely be back again.

Great place to hangout with friends! The drinks n good were amazing! The mojito was excellent and so refreshing. Shrimp tacos were delicious. It had a decent outdoor seating space and with good music. The outdoor seating was by the road side but not too noisy. We really loved the place for the drinks.
