We came in today to try this place out, this is our first impression of this place and we chose this over Javis.
It was me, my grandma, and my 2 cousins, We came out of church. It was cold inside and it took awhile before anyone even took our order. We ordered and when our tacos came out I instantly noticed the tacos look dry, there was AT LEAST a 3 inch long hair in my food and mind you, I’ve worked as a server and I’ve worked fast food. I understand it happens, and I always let it slide, but this disgusted me. I had to pull it out good to even get the hair out, and there was what looked like a bite on the side of the taco? That wasn’t from us. If I knew how to provide the photos I would, although I don’t write much reviews. Of course, we were disappointed, but we didn’t make a scene. After we were ready to leave, my grandma brought the issue up to the man at the cashier, my grandma wasn’t rude, she wasn’t disrespectful, she didn’t ask for a refund. All she said was to be aware because this was our first impression of them. The man was fine, but instantly the chef who’s the biggest issue in this post and the sole reason that motivated me to make this post instantly got rude and disrespectful with my grandmother, who obviously is an older lady. She gave my grandmother an attitude and raised her voice when my grandmother was respectful the entire time. That is when I involved myself and told them about the hair to where she ignored me completely and just told us to have a good day and walked away. I hate to do this to a local business and I hate to ever sound like a Karen, but this was utterly unprofessional and a disappointment first impression. There was no business here when we arrived and I think I understand why now. I’m curious if people have had similiar experiences or if this was a known thing? We have never ate here and we never will again. Seriously, you can do better in 1000 other places around here, especially Javi’s. So overall, Food was utterly weak, mediocre is a understatement. Service? There was no service other than ordering and calling us to get our food. Atmosphere? Cold and empty, as it should be.
Burritos from here are my absolute favorite. We used to go about once a week.
I’m not sure if they’re on vacation or what is going on but I’ve been craving it for weeks now.
Would recommend people try them.
