I was skeptical when I walked in the door. Because you don’t see anywhere what they’re going to charge you for adults or children.
The steak fajitas and other foods mentioned by previous reviews that are months old, yeah that wasn’t there in there buffet.
There was paper, kind of look like a straw wrapper, inside what they called a cheese enchilada.
Great place to go to if you want to get food poisoning. They have very little food, half of it is American food. And all of their food comes out of a can or a pouch. Then they have the nerve to charge you $14.99!? As someone who worked in the restaurant business for 35 years, you don’t put freshly made on top of the existing rice out of buffet. I even said to the guy “you can’t do that it’s against the health department”. His reply, “that’s the way we always do it.”
Yes when I went to the register and said I wanted to speak to a manager I used one dirty word. The manager did nothing but constantly interrupt me then I got louder so I could be heard, then he says don’t yell at me and he just kept interrupting interrupting. So I tore up the bill and said I’m not paying this. Then he picked up the phone says he’s calling the cops on me.
I turned around and saw the hostess, probably his wife, started talking to her, and he shows up and says you told the waitress there was paper in your food and she offered to get a manager and you told her no.”oh so then you knew about the paper in my food and you didn’t come to talk to me about it?”
I told him I’d pay for my son’s food but I’m not paying for anything for myself. Cuz I hardly ate.
They can’t make a living being open only three out of 7 days a week. And it’s obvious why they’re just taking advantage of the military families cuz they’re close to the base. Stay away

My husband and I came across this place yesterday and decided to try it especially sonce the parking lot was full. We made an excellent choice. The service was great, the food was great and sooooo many choices on the buffet. Plus order choices. I wish Lawton had one of these. Can’t wait to go back and take my family and friends!!

Don’t miss out on this dining experience when you travel to Wichita Falls, Texas, or you will regret it! There is a taco bar and American food for the younger kids like chicken nuggets! There is something for everyone and the food is always delicious! No waiting required and you will never leave disappointed or hungry! When I was working in Wichita Falls. My friend had told me about this place. When walking in I have never seen a Mexican buffet like this anywhere in my life time. There was mexican food all over. From tacos to nachos to steak and enchiladas. Great hot sauce as well. Great prices for the lunch buffet.

You know that feeling of you’re hungry. however you don’t know what you want? Well El Mexicano will take care of that. Walk on in and get greeted with a smile and a “hows it going?” ? “Beautiful day” and “follow me please”. You’ve got time to sit and get situated before asked what you’d like to drink. Drinks arrive and the atmosphere is already feeling good. Extra questions including if you would like lemon or lime with your beer or cream with your coffee is a bonus. No one wants to ask for these little extras. Buffet or menu is a plus. Empty plates are removed quickly if you’ve enjoyed their plethora of dishes. There is also cookies and ice cream along with sopapillas. Ohmygoodness. So good. You will not leave hungry.
