Great place, very friendly staff and the food is so delicious. Its never a long wait when we go. And did I mention Monday Margaritas at $4.25 a glass. Definitely need to try it if your in town. I know everyone’s taste buds are different but I love spicy .

Wow. Perfect Service. Excellent Food. Outstanding In Every Way. I had the Pineapple Fajitas and the taste was a perfect blend of spices for the American Pallet. But the visual that is was served in was most impressive.
Any restaurant that can make perfect sweet tea is five stars in my book.
Every employee and the owner was attentive, kind, and compassionate.

The food is decent but the portions are small for the price and that’s the biggest complaint at dinner. I think this is a better lunch spot than dinner for sure.

Great service and atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. However, this is an important WARNING for vegetarians and anyone with ALPHA-GAL syndrome or BEEF ALLERGIES.
The “vegetarian enchiladas” are not truly vegetarian as they appear to be prepared using the same surfaces as beef. The mushroom enchilada included a piece of steak mixed in, the spinach tasted as if it was cooked on the same griddle as steak, the bean enchilada tasted like it contained lard, and only the potato filling appeared safe.
I have alpha-gal and experienced joint inflammation later that evening. Someone with a more severe allergy could be at risk of a serious reaction, including anaphylaxis.
This is not a safe vegetarian option for those with meat allergies. I hope the restaurant will clarify their menu and preparation practices so others can make informed decisions.
With that being said, if you do not have a meat allergy, you will likely enjoy the food, atmosphere, and fast service.

There is plenty of parking here, and this is a wait to be seated kind of place. There is table service, and you pay at the counter when you’re done. Service was extremely fast and friendly. Our drink order was taken quickly, and chips with salsa set down fast. The salsa was slightly chunky and had a rich cilantro flavor. The sweet tea was not like syrup. It had a great tea flavor and was pretty sweet, so I ended up doing half n half. The food was very flavorful and there was plenty of it brought. Great place and great food, so by and give this place a whirl!!

El Mazatlan is at the top of their game with the addition of Octopus to the menu. I sure hope it’s here to stay as no other restaurants in the area offer it. The new location is more accessible, has more tables & staff. It’s beautiful and comforting inside. We’re always pleased with our service and menu options from El Mazatlan. I can’t imagine ever giving less than 5 stars to any El Mazatlan location.

Overall good experience. Staff was great and welcoming. One of the server was pretty great when asked about spicy sauce and he explained few options. I had ordered burritos and it was great except chicken was bit dry, undercook and cold as it was not cooked fresh.

Happy hour $4.25 mugs of margaritas, food portions are very generous and easy to share vs leftovers. Order a dessert if you still have room…which is unlikely. Great place.

This place had the fastest service I have ever seen. It seems to run like a well oiled machine. The staff was pleasant and food was very good.
