Stopped her for lunch over the holidays. Got a couple of their lunch specials and a margarita. Good food, good lunch prices…even the margarita was cheap. So we decided we’d come back another time for supper.
When we came back, it wasn’t very crowded, like the first time. Could have been the holidays, because this place is a gem. They give you a healthy portion of chips and salsa to start with and feel free to ask for more if that isn’t enough. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and she ordered the beef and cheese enchilada special. They were both great and they give you plenty of food.
The servers were friendly and attentive. If your in and around the area and looking for some great Mexican food… You have to stop here!

Came to this new place at the behest of some local friends and . . . . . . . . Boy was i not disappointed. The flautas are nice and crispy, the meat was tender and delicious. One of my friends got the el tapatio and said that was so delicious. Staff was super friendly and nice, food was quick and so amazing. I woukd absolutely recommend this place for some authentic Hispanic dishes !!!! 10 out 10. Just as good as that amazing resteraunt in Las Vegas.

Our first time here. Comparing it to Mexican restaurants in the Phoenix area, this is the closet we have found in the Oelwein – Independence area. Decor is very bright and lively, service was on par. If you know a little food Spanish it can make ordering smoother. Lunch menu items are a great price and the portions are large. We will definitely come again.
