Today is only my second day eating here… and I’m already obsessed. This steak burrito? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. The manager went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable while I waited for my food.
The steak was tender, seasoned perfectly, and actually tasted like real, quality meat — not that chewy, bland stuff most places serve. Every bite was packed with flavor. The tortilla was warm and soft, the toppings were fresh, and the whole thing was built like they cared.
I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with a burrito this early in the week, but here we are. I’m hooked!!!
If you’re thinking about trying it — do it. This place just earned a loyal customer.

Returning visits were not great. Luke warm food. The cheese Enchiladas were not melted and the tacos had very little filling.

Went and ate here for the first time the other day. Chips were horrible tasted like they were sat out all day in a heater. Cheese dip had chunks all inside of it wasn’t fresh. I got a burrito and an enchilada the chicken inside was good except for the fact that the chicken wasn’t all the was shredded. The tortilla shells weren’t good. Rice was alright beans weren’t good. Nothing really tasted fresh. Besides that service was good and restaurant looked nice

My wife and I went to El Maya for a date night. It was our first time here, and we both LOVED it! I had the Chori-Dilla, and she had Chicken Fajita Taco Salad. Both were very, very good! Salsa was delicious. Cheese dip is top-notch. Sweet tea was amazing. Our server was friendly, professional, and took great care of us. We will definitely be back to El Maya!

Grabbed lunch here for the first time today and was not disappointed! The chips and salsa were amazing and they accommodated my dietary restrictions happily. The food was so good and everyone was so friendly! So glad we have a good Mexican restaurant close to home!

We were just traveling thru and were very hungry ,thought we would stop and try instead of riding on in to Decatur. The Persons/staff were friendly, but that was the worse salsa and cheese I have ever had in a tex-mex restaurant, so runny.
It just seem to me they are saving money on everything, the food most of all. Will not go back or can recommend.
