I haven’t been here since pre-COVID; however, my partner has been stopping by and told me about their green chile enchiladas. We went there this past weekend, and they were as good as he said they were. We had shrimp (which was $2 more) and it came with beans and rice. The tortillas were thicker so perhaps they’re homemade? I had horchata and got a free refill (thank you!) and we ordered dessert to go. The tres leche cake was very yummy although not as much as a fan of the flan. Look forward to visiting again!

This food is absolutely disgusting. I did not enjoy my meal at all and could not finish it due to the bland and RIDICULOUSLY OILY taco shells, “steak” meat that was stale/horrible, and rice & beans that also had zero flavor. Considering the other great Latin restaurants in the area, I decided to give this place a try too, and I 1000% regret it. My stomach got upset immediately after the few bites I had and stayed that way for the rest of the night. The food is just gross and sickening; ORDER ELSEWHERE!!!!

Great place, although we wish the portions were a little bit more generous, it’s overall a nice restaurant. Friendly service in English and Spanish, they have birria tacos which are hard to find, as well as pozole and chilaquiles. We’ll come back.

This seems to be quite an authentic Mexican Resturant. It is family run, welcoming and colorful. There is a pretty and lighted garden area outback too. The enchiladas, fajitas, nachos and horchata were quite tasty. They also made us virgin margaritas in a pitcher. Really laid back easy place to be. I will go back.

I have been ordering from El Matador for some time now. Their food is delicious and very consistent in quality. Today for the super bowl, I ordered some nachos for delivery and thought they had changed their portion size as the order had significantly less nachos than usual. I called the restaurant just to inquire about changes in their portions. The young lady advised that they had not changed. Without hesitation, I was offered an additional small size of nachos and they delivered it in less than 30 minutes! This gesture shows the kind of customer service this restaurant offers. There’s nothing like great food and great customer service from an establishment 5 minutes away from home!!! Thank you so much for your delicious food and your consistency in quality and customer service! Did I mention is also byob? It cant get any better than that! Highly recommend El Matador!
