Worst customer service never going back our food was brought out to us with out the sides had to ask for our tortillas napkins and vegetables our tortilla tray was dirty vegetables looked like they been sitting out for a long time waitress never came out to check on us!! Says they close at 9 online, their “open” sign is on & it’s currently 730pm . I really just came for a michelada & was going to get something small to eat . I walk in & the lady doesn’t even greet me (short blonde hair) just stares at me . I said are you guys accepting dine in ? & she looked at me confused so I said can we eat inside ? & she said no we’re closed .. while the “open” sign is on … sooo I’m like well okay ? She asked what I wanted & I said just a michelada really & she was trying to charge me $2.00 extra when the sign outside they have promoting them says “$5.99 micheladas” lol . Soooo I just walked out . Treated me hella rude & was awkward so I won’t be returning everrrr .

First time coming here, had chili Colorado. It was marinated well in a rich chili sauce, never had it mildly sweet like that but it was excellent. Beans and rice were traditional and on point. If you want great Mexican food Crows landing has a lot little places. Salsa had too much onion and chips were too thick and hard for my liking but overall I look forward to trying other things here.

My husband and I like to take my mother to El Marinero, the waitress (older short grey hair lady) was extremely rude. I ask if the octopus was tender she gave me a rude comment. We should have left right away, we decided to stay and order. I ordered a shrimp coctel, the shrimp are not clean. THEY DON’T CLEAN THE SHRIMP. I will never go back to this restaurant.

I had a dozen mussels for an appetizer and they were not good. I don’t know if they fried them, but the mussels had a lot of oil on them and had a strange burnt taste to them. I also ordered a seafood caldo with head on shrimps, fish, clam, mussels and scallops. The broth was good, however, the head on shrimps were not fresh and I can tell they were old possibly freezer burned. I started peeling the shell, and the whole tail meat broke apart on me into bits. I was disappointed. The only seafood that was good is the fish and mussels. The place was dirty and so was the top of the tortilla warmer. How many hands have touched it and left the top cover dirty? The shrimp gave me really bad runs. I won’t be returning back and would not recommend this place to my family or friends. I wished I had read all the unsatisfactory reviews before hand, from other people who visited the restaurant. You have been warned.

Food took a long time to get to us. It was 3 of us and we didn’t order anything elaborate. They brought us the wrong plate, not what we ordered! We called the waitress to explain because she never came to check up on us. Then the manager came, took the plate but instead of fixing the problem…..she canceled the order and we were all waiting for the 3rd plate so we can all eat together…..we finally waived down the waitress again. And she stated, “there is no order getting done for you, you said that you didn’t want them!” They were soo unprofessional about the situation. Handled it very poorly. I will never go there again. And the rest of my family liked going there once in a while …..but not anymore.

Nostalgic restaurant with a unique location. Having lived in the area for 18 years I’ve never been to ElMarinero. The service was great and the food was delish! I like good food and if it’s not good I won’t come back! I was blown away by the flavor and sauces for my shrimp burrito!
I’ll definitely be hooking back up and bringing another review!
