I was so excited to see that they not only had gluten-free pizza crust but they would do a gluten-free sub/sandwich as well. I get so hungry for subs since hardly anybody ever has gluten-free bread/ rolls. It was the most delicious, spicy Italian sub I’ve had in my life! My husband got the cauliflower crust gluten-free pizza which was also very delicious. Very friendly and cute little shop. We’re only here for 2 weeks but I’m sure we’re going to go get it again.

We found this place because they offer a cauliflower crust pizza, and it did not disappoint. We took family members today to try. Ordered regular crust pizza dough ! Everything was delicious. and the pizza was fresh and flavorful. We ordered one pizza, half with a garlic oil base and half with marinara—both were excellent. Service is always friendly. Definitely worth trying, and we’ll be back again and again.

The locations is good. Beautiful sunset. We did wait for a bit for the food though. The food was good but not like “I have to come back” kinda good.

Visiting for the day and having lunch before the Pine Smoke Meadery opens. Wow! A truly pleasant and tasty dining experience. I recommend the meatball sup and spicy Italian.

Pizzas are not greasy and had great flavor. I had the veggie pizza. My husband had the meatball sub. Able to sit outside with our dog. She just laid down and watched cars go by. Staff pleasant to work with.

Well, today I tried a restaurant many of you claimed of was the best. El Marie’s in Eustis, FL. Here is my review. Brace yourselves.

The location was easy to find with ample parking. The staff were friendly and prompt. We made our order. A large half cheese half pepperoni (well done) and a small meat lovers calzone.

The calzone was okay. Nothing wrong with it. Crisp, fresh and fine.

The pizza, maybe the worst I’ve ever had.
It was downright soggy. Not well done and LOADED with grease. I’ve never seen so much grease on a pizza anywhere. This wasn’t just horrible for NY style. It was horrible period. I absolutely despise Pizza Hut Puzza, but I’d have rather eaten it. We actually asked for our bill and got up to leave, leaving the food on the table. The waitress apologized for the pizza and comp’d the cost of the pizza. We went across the street and ate Mexican.

I’m hoping this was just a bad night. But I’ll never give it another shot. It was pretty bad. Look at the photos. Notice the puddle of grease on the pizza. What do you think? Is this what YOU like?

What a gem of a place! Friends recommended El Marie so we went for a late lunch. Aaron, the owner, greeted us at the door and came over to explain the menu. There were so many amazing options. I chose the white pizza with chicken and bacon. It was delicious! Our friends recommended the garlic knots so we had those as well. Erika was our waitress and she did a great job. Making sure our drinks were filled and checked on us numerous times. I would definitely recommend and we will be back again.

You can tell a lot about a restaurant by its side salad ingredients.
The lettuce came chopped, creating convenience and a bigger salad . The tomatoes were red ALL THE WAY THROUGH and full of flavor, My guess is these are not from lake county!
It was topped with perfectly sliced red onions and some of the freshest shaved mozzarella I’ve had in months. I mean, the mozz was soft and had flavor! It was paired automatically with a simple O&V, accentuating the taste. Other dressings available but why?
Usually restaurants cut corners with side salad ingredients.. not enough lettuce paired with a tasteless pink tomato and a Ken’s packet of dressing.
Not El Marie.
They clearly care about their customers tastebuds from start to finish.
I also got Roni pizza and garlic knots. Everything was killer.

PS-No pic, I ate everything too fast!
