We were in from out of town looking for a good Mexican Restaurant and El Mariachi Sabor de Mexico did not disappoint!! The food was hot, fresh & delicious!! The Queso is a must have! I had the 4 Flauta plate good portion size great taste and My hubby said his combo Fajitas of chicken, beef, & shrimp definitely did not disappoint seasoned well and tender and juicy. Great talking with the owner super sweet lady! We would definitely be back if we’re passing through! ~Tovars from Royse City

El Mariachi’s catered our theatre production with tacos, rice, chips and salsa for all! The kids absolutely loved everything. We had kids coming back 5 or 6 times for more food! The tacos were well seasoned and tender and the rice was so good! The salsa is some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be returning for catering and family meals!

I am glad to have found this restaurant. The queso does not have tomatoes in it and the Guacamole is made as it is ordered so we were also able to request it without tomatoes. This works well for us. My husband had the fish fajitas and I had the pina loco both were fantastic. The portions were large. The margarita was good. The only thing that would have made it better was our waitress rarely came back for iced tea refills. But she was great at making sure our food was prepared as requested.

My wife and kids dance at the studio two doors down. I sit here and have some great tacos and maybe a fantastic house margarita while I’m waiting.

I don’t want to leave a great review because I want to keep my table, but this place needs more recognition.

Texas transplant from Mississippi looking for the Mexican food I grew up on, and this is it! The staff is friendly, and the queso blanco is runny and absolutely delicious. A little slice of home right outside of Fort Worth? Sign me up. Don’t miss out on this place!!

Hidden in a corner but caught it out of me peripheral. I arrived at opening and the place was empty but I was promptly greeted and seated. With menu in hand I was served a bowl of salsa and chips. The chips were okay, store bought. The salsa was fresh, tomatoee but had a nice kick to it. I set my heart on their menudo and also asked for 2 al pastor tacos. The server asked if I wanted cilantro and onions, to which I said YES. I killed the first serving of salsa, that was quickly replaced when my tacos came out. The Pastor tacos had an amazing flavor along with bits of pineapple (as it should) the tacos were in house made corn tortillas that made them even better! I devoured those bad boys and after a few minutes I was served my piping hot menudo. The menudo was CLEAN and very flavorful! I came out to me with all the fixings to include limes, cilantro, onions, jalapeños and my favorite dry Mexican oregano as that is how I grew up eating it in my home town of El Paso. I quickly tasted the juice to assess the flavor and it was perfect. The menudo was accompanied by home hot and hand made corn tortillas of which, I quickly sprinkled with some table salt and rolled it into a taquito and went to town on that delicious soup with beef tripe and hominy sprinkled with oregano and a couple of lime slice juice. I really enjoyed this place and would readily recommend and return.

When you have an experience like this you want to shout it at a mountain top. First of all the location screams charm filled with love from the moment you walk in the door. My primary waitress was professional and pleasant. But everyone checked that I had what I needed. The short happy Mexican lady who owns it was here on a Sunday which tells you this place is a labor of love. I ordered the fajitas. Which were very good. The house margaritas were delicious. The tres leches cake was the best I have ever tasted. A true hole in the wall oozing with charm. If you like Mexican cuisine, don’t miss El Mariachi.

Don’t be discouraged by the modest appearance of El Mariachi Mexican Food—the food speaks for itself. The dishes are authentic and flavorful, with some creative options like the piña loca and pollo loco that were really enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience overall.
