I ordered and paid online. When I walked across the parking lot from the hotel to get my food, there was a young lady there. She just looked at me, no greeting, so I told her why I was there, to pick up my order. I didn’t see an option to make it spicy, so I asked if she could add something to make it spicy, like a sauce or seasoning, and she said she could. She said she would have to charge me. I asked if I could exchange the salsa for something spicy, and she said no. There was no sauce on any of the tables, so I took my food and left. The food portion didn’t match the price, and it was very bland. The veggies were really fresh and still tasty, beans average, and the rice was old. I ordered vegetarian fajitas, and it came with guacamole salad, chips, and salsa. The chips were fresh and really good, the only thing I really enjoyed. The bar side of the restaurant was really lively and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

the al pastor was one of my favorites. the vibe was loud and lively with karaoke. everything was really delicious. shrimp tostata came out a lil soggy, preferred the beef one.

I gave three stars because the service lacked a bit but the AC was broken and the servers looked exhausted. Also not really good English here so, be a little bi-lingual. The burrito we ordered was authentic and the chips and salsa were mediocre, I’m a little disappointed with this being a eat street restaurant, it lacked a lot of love. Not sure if i will try again with so many more authentic places down the block.. sorry about that El Mariachi. I do sympathize with the way America is acting about your culture and citizenships, just know we all don’t support that kind of behavior here, we are all legally human, no such thing as a illegal alien, please try to do better, your food is amazing but no one will really know. You are beautiful and so is the culture. A smile will change everything.

The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the wait staff were helpful and friendly. The portions were absolutely massive so there is no chance I could finish my meal but we enjoyed the chicken fajitas and the enchiladas (#18 and #16). The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious as well!

Food was good except steak was overcook as I ordered mid-rare. I like the place but service needed to be improve. I had to wait for plates and utensils for 30 mins. My husband and I just looked at food and thought should we eat by hands. I had to grab napkin by from other table as our serve was disappear. It’s really need improve. Won’t go back again even food was good.

My dudes. Don’t sleep on this place. The food is fresh and well-cared for. Highly recommend.

I need to start this restaurant review talking not about the food but the volume of the music. It was so loud inside the restaurant you needed to shout to have a conversation with your dining partners. And your waiter.

Great food, but WAY TOO LOUD. They have a juke box that is just as loud as being at a night club. If you don’t mind that, 5 stars. But I have Autism & it took me several days to recover from the sensory overload.

YUMMMM! real, authentic mexican food, with a mexican vibe; I felt like I was back in a bar in mexico. The michelada, and horchata was DELICIOUS, the food was great also! my beans and rice were slightly cold, but my chilaquiles were delicous with great flavor, and my boyfriends soup had great flavor! Service was good, could have been a bit more friendlier but she was good. This will be my to go to for mexican food when in Minneapolis!

I can not say enough positive things about the restaurants or the staff! Every time I work near this restaurant, I go there for lunch. The staff or so friendly and I think they know my order by heart now! Food? DELICIOUS! Staff? OUTSTANDING! Atmosphere, DELIGHTFUL!! The person who complained about the music being too loud…you went to a bar/restaurant during happy hour. Did you expect it to be as quiet as a library? Silly. Anyway, I love this restaurant and it’s one that won’t break the bank!!
