Great dining experience at Mariachi Mexican Restaurant. The food was flavorful, well presented, and tasted fresh. Everything was well seasoned and felt very authentic. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy good Mexican food. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend if you’re looking for a solid Mexican restaurant in Louisville.

Overall, a great restaurant. I believe our server may have been new, she tried really hard and did a great job but kept rushing us to order. She also wasn’t too familiar with the menu yet.
We love the Birria menu! Particularly the Birria pizza. It comes topped with pickled onions and a bacon wrapped jalapeño! The consume is good. The salsa and queso are also great starters, but the chips are SO HARD. Parking is slim but there are a few near the restaurant.

1st trying El Mariachi Mexican restaurant. We were not super impressed. It was okay. Food was fair and kinda bland. The waitress was not very intentive. But it is an authentic Mexican restaurant it just wasn’t my favorite. Super clean.

I can’t say I enough about the resturant. We had so fun there it’s was my sister birthday they made it so special. All the server were amazing and so friendly I didn’t get anyone’s name. But it was. Great The chunky guacamole was awesome. It was amazing. I believe I got number five on the dinner menu amazing the ribeye was seasoned to perfection. The chicken was tender. The shrimp was awesome. Honestly, I wish I could give them 10 stars because it was just so amazing girls you did a great job thank you again. Can’t wait to see you guys again.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican vibes, El Mariachi delivers. The decor, music, and overall energy create a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience.
The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The margaritas were a highlight — strong, refreshing, and well-balanced. However, not everything hit the mark. The grande chicharrones were a bit dried out, and the birria tacos were a letdown — they came out soggy, with cheese simply dropped on top rather than melted in. Not ideal for such a signature dish.
Still, the overall experience was enjoyable enough that we returned two days later for happy hour (which is why we gave it a four because three dollar margaritas are amazing) — and we were glad we did. El Mariachi has great potential, especially if they tighten up a few dishes.

Stopped in pretty late for a bite. Was welcomed in and sat at the bar. Had 3 tacos that were some of the best Mexican I’ve had in this city for 15 years!! Margaritas were hand made and delicious!! Authentic beans and rice and good salsa!! Highly recommend this place!! Ill be back!! Soon!

El Mariachi was a great experience. The menu, in addition to having the typical Mexican restaurant items, has a variety of options I had not found before… and I LOVE them! Service is consistently friendly and fast. Food is always delicious. We initially went to this restaurant since it is so close to home. After eating there a few times now, I’d definitely drive out of my way to go there. And the salsa… the best! Yum!

My wife and I came in for the first time several days back. I don’t remember what it was called. Served in a mortar, beef ribs, shrimp, chicken, cactus (delicious), steak and veggies. We finished the meal with home made cherry fried ice cream served with chocolate syrup and crispy cinnamon and sugar.

I would just like to say that when I visited this restaurant everybody was really nice my server Miguel the one that looks really handsome with the tattoos he was very sweet and he was very good with his customer service he made sure that we had everything we need always checked on us always had our drinks filled I would just like to say this is best customer service I have ever had in any restaurant. Thank you so much for you guys being awesome I definitely will be back to dine with you all again
