I had a good walk-in experience on a Tuesday around noon. The restaurant is pretty nice, conveniently located on a main road with free parking.
Pleasant interiors, comfortable seating, clean restrooms. Random nonsense on TV makes the atmosphere calm and casual (it’s much better than watching the news…)
The girl behind the counter was kind and friendly, and she made my burrito quickly. The burrito was just as good as at other taquerias, maybe a bit better than Chipotle, less greasy.
Good burrito, good service, fair price 🙂

Paid 60 cash for 12 tacos. Got carnitas, chicken, steak. Priced on menu at 3.5 and 3.75. Plus a sign said 10% cash. Tried support local business b it better supporting your wallet and going to chipotle

Great new location for this Needham taqueria but now closer to the Newton-Needham border conveniently located on Highland avenue. The place is on the small size compared to their original location but still worth coming in to dine in.
Highly recommend the steak dinner or the torta Mexicana.
Note the online ordering is still sending the orders to their other location so just make sure you either give them a call or come in to order to go.

I work 5 minutes away and drive by everyday.
I was heading to Chipotle for a burrito at lunch … but thought I would give this place a try.
Not a good decision.
I go in, the only worker was glued to the cartoon on the tv the whole time like a young child, for real.
He even kept looking up at it when he was making my burrito.
And as for it, the burrito food choices looked like they were possibly days old. And tasted that way too…
Odd sour tasting pork and dried out.
Its wasn’t good. Big, but honestly was worried after eating 1/4 of it. I don’t want to be sick.
Anyway not going back. I’ll stick to Anna’s Taqueria !

Best Mexican in Needham – no question. Francisco, aka “Hungry Coyote,” has brought authentic Mexican to Highland Ave. We got the burrito and enchiladas – both were outstanding. Will be back!

I was picking up something from someone on Facebook Marketplace on a Saturday around lunch time a few weeks ago. Thankfully, I drove past El Mariachi. After I picked up my item I drove back to grab a chicken quesadilla. It was delicious. The customer service was great and the restaurant, including the bathroom is clean. I have been to several Mexican restaurants near Waltham and Newton and none of them have the flavor like El Mariachi and I have been trying to find one in the area for several month that has good Mexican food. So glad I found it. Going back today for lunch.

We drive by and decided to try this for lunch . The food is ok but not worth the price . The only employee or owner , is glued to the tv the whole time , like a child . I went to grab a drink in the fridge . I brought it over to my table since I forgot it . He told my husband to pay for it. When we paid for it . I just forgot to take it . They way he said it was off putting . I mean I paid $35 for some tacos sober . You really think I would steal a $3.00 little soda pop .

They close at 3. If you accidentally ordered online after hours, you have to pick it up at the Hungry Coyote where they will make it for you.
