First off, the service is great—super friendly and fast, even when it gets busy. You never feel like you’re waiting around, and the staff makes you feel welcome from the second you walk in.
The portion sizes are generous, and you get a lot of high-quality food for what you pay. Whether you’re ordering a burrito, tacos, or something off their full entrée menu, you’ll leave full and satisfied. The burritos especially are solid—hearty, flavorful, and well put together, and the rest of the menu holds up just as well. Everything is seasoned perfectly and cooked with care.
The interior decor is really fun and vibrant, with a lot of attention to detail. It’s one of those places that’s actually worth sitting down to eat in just to enjoy the atmosphere. It’s colorful, cozy, and adds to the whole experience.
That said, it’s a little pricey for Mexican food, especially compared to quick-service spots—but the quality and setting justify it. You’re definitely paying for a sit-down experience with authentic flavors and not just a quick bite.
Overall, El Mariachi Loco is one of the best spots around for Mexican food—a great local place with bold flavors, friendly service, and an atmosphere that makes it worth a visit again and again.
The decor so cool and pretty.
Felt like we’re somewhere in Mexico.
The hostess was also our waiters based from our receipt her name is Yeni.
She was friendly, helpful and had great attitude.
Food was pretty good.
Nothing to complain.
I ordered the queso dip, which is literally a fajita dish filled with half melted flavorless Fiesta blend cheese and three warmed corn tortillas to put your globs of cheese on. Not at all what you’d expect a queso dip to be.
At this point I gave up on ordering more and left before suffering through another failed dish. My recommendation: do some research, rework your menu, and hire a chef with enough dignity to serve a dish suited for someone over 4 years old.
I don’t usually like to post a bad review, but this place is by far the lowest quality “Mexican” restaurant I have ever endured. The service was excellent though, zero complaints there, which is the only reason this place got a second star.
Nice atmosphere with pleasant background music. A wide variety of menu selections yielding GREAT tasting food in ample portions.
We both had the Tres Carnes Platter; (Carne Asada, Pork El Pastor, and Mexican Chicken) with Refried Beans and Mexican Style Rice. On subsequent visits we also tried the Burito El Pastor Platter, Hawaiian Fajita Platter, and the Chicken Chimichanga Platter.
Disappointed with their salsa, but they do have FRESH Pico de Gallo. Overall very good food for a local Mexican meal that is far above what one would expect.
With many visits here, I have not been disappointed. They can accomidate single diners, couples, families, and even large groups.
We were greeted quickly and seated at the same time. They provided a high chair for my toddler. While we were seated my son loved looking at all the colorful imagery painted on the walls and even on the chairs. Everything from the music to the art of the location shows the love of the owners.
The waitress provided the table with chips and salsa while we looked at the menu. The salsa was not chunky and quite the kick. I am white so take that with a grain of salt haha.
For my son, I ordered the kid’s cheese quesadilla adding chicken to it. This came with a side of fries or rice. I chose the rice as he loves Spanish rice. This kid’s meal was massive! The rice covered the entirety of the plate and the quesadilla was thick. They did not skimp on it. I did try it and it tasted well seasoned.
For myself, I ordered the birria taco combo. This came with 3 tacos, rice, beans, lettuce, and sour cream. The rice was consistent across both plates. Very flavorful not dry while being sticky enough to group and it had bits of corn inside. The tacos themselves were fantastic bursting with flavor. The birria meat was falling apart in the taco. The birria sauce was also much better than most places I’ve gone to. It was flavorful without being overwhelming coming in its small cup.
The check can be paid with cash, card, or using their QR code as well. Be aware while I was there despite my phone saying I had service I could not connect to the internet at all. Our waitress was fantastic helping me get situated with my son while she handled several other tables.
I think my only gripe was at some point the hostess by the door must have left but they never replaced her. This meant as a large group and more customers arrived my waitress ended up having to stop to greet them. At one point she cleaned and busted a table in less than 2 minutes to sit a new family. I do not remember her name but she deserves a raise. All this to say due to the other employee leaving it took some time for me to get the check and pay due to no internet. More of an observation than anything else. The prices were pretty solid especially for the amount of food you received.
Overall highly recommend this location!
