Foremost, this is a Honduran Restuarant and NOT a Mexican Restuarant! Please, quit calling this Mexican! They fly a Honduran flag inside over the kitchen. I suggest that every post from 1, 2. 3 years ago that calls this Mexican be removed from the review process because the reviewer was not aware of what was being reviewed.
I did not know that they accepted cash only until I read some reviews. It is how I pay these days because too many people will take your credit card info, sell the information, and the next thing you know is your credit card company is calling you on a fraud alert as what happened to me at a gas station in Magnolia Springs a few years ago.
I ordered the Super Burrito and it was really large. It was filled with rice, beans, beef, guacamole, tomatoes, and other stuff.
I made the mistake of putting hot sauce (red salsa) on the first cut of the burrito and spent a few minutes with an extreme burn on my tongue and in my mouth. I asked for bread but there was none. My waiter, the young man, brought 2 oriole cookies that made a big difference. The cookies deadened the burn from the extremely hot sauce. The green sauce was not as hot as the red but was watery tasting.
I ate all the burrito but without the sauces.
I was disappointed that there was no chips and dip. I was disappointed that there was no side order with the burrito, like beans and rice or salad stuff. But the burrito was loaded with rice. It had a few beans, but looked naked all alone on the plate.
I would rate the service as needing improvement. There was no friendly greeting. They all seemed unsured as to what they should speak…Spanish or English. Hey. You are in America! The language is English! Learn it. Say hello. Be friendly. Watch your customers! When customers look to you, it is because they need you. You earn tips by watching your customers and promptly going to their table to find out what they need. Take the bill to them.
I asked for the bill and was waved or motioned to come to the register. I was not given a bill but given a price of $12. That was for a bottle of water and the burrito. Every one knows that bills do not come in rounded figures like $10, $12, $14. At this place, I guess they do not charge tax. Plus not giving a customer a paper bill saves on paper.

Remember, folks, this is HONDURAN. NOT MEXICAN!!
QUIT CALLING IT MEXICAN!

Place has pretty good food, it is authentic Honduran food. This is not an Americanized restaurant, so don’t expect service to be the same as american. over all food is good. Bathrooms look clean so you know kitchen is cleaned. I had a baliada and a popusa.

Little hole in the wall with cheap, delicious street tacos! Very fresh food and nice employees. You can get full for $5. Loved it!

Delicious and authentic food served by very happy and polite people. We had a wonderful dinner. I highly recommend the carne asada and especially the camarones soup!! Their fresh made juices are incredible, make sure to ask for a sample and I promise you’ll be taking a juice to go. Thank you for a great evening, we will be back to try it all! ❤️❤️

Before the quarantine my mother and I loved to get the authentic tacos from here. We always had great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. I made a to go order today for 5 al pastor tacos & some chips w/ salsa. They said it would take thirty minutes. It had been 30 minutes and I pulled up to see they take CASH ONLY which I was not informed of over the phone so I had to go all the way to regions bank in Foley, AL to take money out. I pull back up and go inside to pick up my order and it was still not ready they haven’t even started making it, and there were only two tables of people eating inside. I wait for ten minutes just for her to tell me they just ran out of Al pastor tacos when I ordered them almost an hour ago. So disappointed that this place turned into what it is now. It used to be our favorite.

Good south of the border food is hard to find this side of the Mississippi River. Look no further, this neat little family owned business has incredibly authentic and delicious food- not to mention very generous portions. The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Promise you wont leave hungry –

Awful worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Meat and tortillas were not edible. There was no pick, not salsa, no guacamole, chips or sour cream.
Meat was white looking thin steak. Disgusting and I paid $14.00 for and order of fajitas. I won’t be back. Cash only and no liquor license which was not a problem for me but good to know.

It won’t let me post 0 stars so I will choose one.
