It’s was great traveling from Chicago staying at the Skyline Lodge, hiking and traveling for food. Passed this after a night out eating at Cheddars… Didn’t think I’d be in the mood for Mexican but day 2 of our stay in the area, the place popped out.
I am so glad I picked this spot for our dinner date, they had live music doing covers of popular songs. It was great! Service good, food great.

The BEST all around! My husband and I loveeee Mexican food. We love going to El Mariachi. The waiters are amazing. Very attentive & friendly. They know I want 6 packs of A1 with my fajitas lol Awesome place, food, people & environment.

I have lived in this area for 32 years and many Mexican restaurants have came and went. This one has stood the test of time and I hope that they are in our community for many more years. The owner does a lot for the community and works his butt off to make this restaurant the best it can be. They are one of the few places in our area that has actually improved overtime and gotten better. If I want a really good meal that’s not going to break the bank this is my go to. By far the best Mexican restaurant in southern West Virginia!

I grew up in Southern California with the best authentic Mexican food around. When we moved to WV last year I saw this restaurant and thought..haha how authentic can this restaurant be in the middle of West Virginia!!!! We decided to give it a try Friday night. To my surprise this place ended up being AWESOME. The salsa is absolutely amazing!! Amazing!! I’ve never had salsa like this except once and it was homemade (I am sure there’s is too)! It is not too hot and it has the best flavor. I ended up taking home a big container of it. The Mexican Street Corn was spot on! I ordered Taquitos for my meal… They were the absolute best that I’ve had in 20+ years! I can’t wait to go back! Delicious from start to finish!

Food is delicious, but the servers will upcharge you unnecessarily. Asked for 2 regular margaritas, received 2 jumbo margaritas and had to pay for it. We were asked if we want cheese dip, we said no that’s okay. The server brought us cheese dip and charged us for it anyways.

We had an excellent time at El Mariachi in Beaver West Virginia. We were seated promptly and waited on very quickly. Our server was efficient and helpful with what selections he recommended. We were both very surprised how good our food was. The house margaritas were fine, but nothing great. We did like their chips and salsa. If you are hungry for American Mexican and are in the area you will not be disappointed.

Very good as usual, although they have a policy stating an extra 3% charge for credit card users. So i guess that means folks tips will be less. Not sure bout this, are we supposed to bring cash. Are we “doing a deal”?I guess next time I plan to eat out ill take both.
