I got the chile relleno lunch special. The photo shows exactly how it is served if you order to go. There was NO chile. When I took it back they said their chile relleno is carne remolido – reground up ground beef, with no poblano chile. Make it make sense. 0 stars.

I am a fully grown adult woman although I look young when I ask for a large cup I don’t expect to get a small child’s cup. I was out with my cousins who are around my age but they do look older than me, and they asked for large cups and got there’s while I was given a child’s cup. I know I look twelve, but I promise I’m older, it’s just from an underproduction of growth hormone.

I was completely ignored when I walked into the restaurant, it probably took the waitresses about 10 minutes before they even decided to quit talking to each other to even acknowledge that we were there. Also each time that the waitress came up to the table she will pretend on a non-uscar-winning performance that she was excited about doing her job but in all reality you could tell she couldn’t stand it and as soon as you got done talking she would go right back to the conversation that she was trying to finish before we “rudely” (jk) but you would have thought we was being rude to them versus them being rude to us.. with that being said we had to ask for everything the two other tables with customers were sending their their basket of chips back saying they were stale and needed new ones fresh ones, and the other group of four ladies and a child literally sat there the entire time from the time we got there until about we got our food which was 25 minutes later or more and we only got a lunch special so it wasn’t that much food for the record, they actually had to tell each other why they thought the ladies were waiting and then sarcastically get louder than they ever should have needed to to get their attention from their conversation they were still carrying on from the very beginning of us being in the restaurant! All the while you could tell they were three other tables that had customers prior to us did all the food the plates the cups the trash on the floor for still in the same place as the customers left them I would assume with some of the same sorry sarcastic looks and if I had to say myself the worst waitresses I’ve ever dealt with and the food was absolutely horrible and completely bland with no spices or flavor.. sorry for the long but needed very needed explanation and warning before you go back to this place or try this place is complete waste of your time and I hope these bold words get back to this owner or said establishment and maybe they’ll actually take some insight to try to fix what’s going on before they lose their business because I’m going to call the health inspector next because I feel like it wasn’t that cleanly in the back from what I could tell looking through the window as the cook was cooking the food also.. you have been warned!

Been here a few times now, and must say, not a bad thing yet!!! Everything is hot (freshly cooked) and tasty…..more than enough food. Very friendly ppl and atmosphere. And always reasonably priced……can’t go wrong here……AND they have a DRIVE THRU…..so you can order ahead and just drive thru and pick it up!!!! Ya gotta give’em a try!!!!

I recently discovered this family-owned restaurant, and it quickly became my go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in Zebulon.
The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff.
The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly their salsa. As a discerning salsa connoisseur, I can confidently say that this restaurant boasts the finest salsa in Zebulon. It’s fresh, flavorful, and perfectly complements the warm, crispy chips.
The menu offers a variety of reasonably priced dishes. I opted for the chicken chimichanga, and it was simply divine. The chimichanga was expertly fried, and the chicken was tender and seasoned to perfection.
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking Mexican cuisine in Zebulon. It’s a hidden gem that deserves to be packed with patrons. I look forward to returning soon.
