Usually Mexican food is just ok for me, but my wife loves it. We went here on a date and hands down this was the best Mexican food I have had. The chips and salsa are pretty standard, but good. However, I got the Mamut burrito and I will be back for this burrito. Not only was it huge, but the steak, chicken, and shrimp were seasoned amazing and so good. Shrimp is easy to overcook in a combo of meat like that, but it was cooked perfect as well. And topped with chorizo. I’ll be back!

Not bad, the staff, were very friendly.
I had the guacamole burger, my wife had the grilled shrimp house salad with blue cheese dressing on the side.
The food was decent, my burger was fairly large, my wife’s salad was delicious. The ambiance was extremely interesting! We enjoyed the atmosphere.

I ordered a T-bone with slaw and red skin mashed potatoes with a pop to top it off.
The atmosphere is nice. A lot of decor and comfortable seating. Mexicana with a touch of Western environment.
The service was very friendly. I mentioned that it was my time visiting, and the waitress took her time to really help with the menu selection. If you know the industry, this is rare and make for a wonderful experience.
The food was fresh! I would have believed them if they said they pulled everything from the garden and the cow from down the road. Cooked to my liking and delivered promptly to the table. The portions was eye popping. Normally, if you go to a steak house and order a steak, you get a slice of jerky. This place, on the other hand, serves you a steak! The coleslaw was creamy and delicious. The redskin potatoes were on point as well. I didn’t have to use any condiments.
In the end, I tried the cheesecake with strawberries. They make these fresh every morning, and you can tell that these are fresh and the right thickness for cheesecake.
This place has been amazing. I will make a return and keep you updated, that is if I don’t fall asleep from a food coma.
Thank you, El Mamut. You made a Monday a good day.

Service was difficult no food came at the same time came one by one over 5 or so minutes. Lack of flavor thin cuts of meat. The ribs were beyond dry. The fried green tomatoes and mozzarella sticks were on par. Prices to quality does not match. If you want a salad as a side it cost 2 dollars more.

The people were friendly when we were walking in and greeted us. The server we had was new (his name was mickey), but he did great. Service was fast, and they made sure we didn’t need anything without being overbearing. The people were also very nice when we were leaving. They made sure to speak to us coming in and going out. It was our first time being there, but we will definitely be back. They earned our business. We loved it!!

First visit, was just what we were looking for, mexican cuisine with hamburger options too. Husband had Texican hamburger with fries, daughter had Hangover hamburger with fries and I had fajita chimichanga. Service was a little slow but because meals were very good, we’ll visit again.

First time eating here and unfortunately won’t be back. We ordered the grilled chicken, cheese and rice. The first plate the rice wasn’t cooked through, it was hard you couldn’t bite through. We let our server know and she brings out the second plate with just rice. (Which the two plates had two completely different types of rice) that one was cooked correctly. But the service wasn’t good, I had to get up to find the server to let her know the rice wasn’t cooked she was on her phone. They just expected us to pick the chicken off the other plate. It was a strange experience. And it was $40 for two plates of mediocre chicken and rice. Also to note I have no clue what type of restaurant it is. The menu has almost every type of food you can think of but I’m afraid to know what quality it would be.

Absolutely loved our experience at Mamut Bar & Grill! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly—from the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The menu is extensive, with a little something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for classic American comfort food or flavorful Mexican dishes. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The relaxed, casual atmosphere made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Mamut is one of those local hidden gems. They have so many options on their menu that everyone should be able to find something that they like. When we went, I wanted to try something I wouldn’t normally order, so I got the cheeseburger with a friend green tomato and fried pickles on it. The burger was very good and it was huge! I was only able to eat about half of it and my husband took it home and ate it for breakfast the next day. Great prices, good food and great service!
