This place is amazing! Let’s begin with the best part, the food! The food was amazing. We had both Lunch and breakfast entrees. The Breakfast was on point and to my surprise the breakfast papas were perfectly cooked with a very light crisp easy to chew satisfying softness. I would describe their food as clean tasting and very flavorful. Menudo was delicious and with their signature Blue tortillas made from fresh imported Maiz. Cheese on enchiladas was high quality and water was fresh filtered! Hit all the marks! Great service from a great family with a high quality restaurant!

I had stopped there a few days ago with my mother in law and didn’t order much since I had just eaten. I really liked the flavor of my food and saw they had a buffet so I went back today and let me tell u I was not disappointed. There aren’t too many buffet items but they were delicious and the tortillas are nice and fluffy. They also have buffet to go. The service is great! The price is really good. I will be going back. Diego is very nice and attentive. He appreciates his customers. Give it a try yall.

El Maíz Dorado is a new gem! The food was delicious, well-portioned, and very filling. Everything was excellently prepared and beautifully served. The service was kind, thoughtful, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

If you’re looking for a clean and calm atmosphere. This is where you need to go! The service from the beginning felt very welcoming. Every time we spoke to our server (who I later found out is one of the owners) he had a smile on his face. The food was literally spot on with flavor! I LOVED their buffet. All the food looked fresh and it was very clean. New regular customer for sure!

I believe this used to be a smoked barbecue place. We were enticed by the sign outside that said buffet for lunch. Decided to give it a shot during lunch time because the usual restaurants were packed to the gills. I ordered the fajita nachos which were not bad. Presentation was good there were decently served but they came back lukewarm. The fajita that was used appeared to be fried then chopped up. I ordered a torta which was pretty good. It was a good size and tasted great. Mom was happy with it. Dad ordered a ham and cheese omelette which came loaded with cheese. Dad gave a two thumbs up on the omelette. He is also a fan of chicharron shall we ordered a plate of that for all of us to share. Aside the fact that the chicharron gets soggy it was very very good. Service was excellent and the buffet was available but we weren’t feeling it at the time. Maybe next time we’ll give the buffet a shot. Overall we enjoyed the spot, it was quiet a customer service was excellent the food took a little bit to come out as they didn’t have very much staff but we did get a chance to meet the owner who thanked us for our business and welcome us back

Very nice server friendly and fast, food was good portions were good on my plate chilaquiles especial. My daughter got a 1x1x1 she said she enjoyed the food aswell portion was smaller ofcourse due to it being a 1x1x1 plate bacon egg pancake. Ohh and freshly made blue corn tortillas nice touch, salas could use a tad more flavor for my taste buds but good overall.

Amazing!!! The food was incredible, and the customer service was top-notch! The menudo was packed with authentic flavors and had just the right balance of chilis and fresh ingredients. My kids tried the pancakes and absolutely loved them; they were nice and fluffy with a buttery taste. The blue corn tortillas were spot on too! I’ll definitely be returning and will recommend this place to all my friends and family. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well!

I really appreciate great food. This place did not let down. I am typically creative and they answered the call. I asked for enmoladas from their lunch menu with 2 fried eggs. Mexican Brunch! Thank you Diego for accommodating me. I loved it. Definitely going back. Food was also well priced.
