We spent nearly $60 for lunch, but could not eat our food. The wet burritos were full of raw onions. We have had wet burritos at a dozen different spots around the valley and never once have I ever had anyone put raw onions in a wet burrito. Not only were they raw, but they were purple and plentiful. I feel like raw onions in a wet burrito are a very unexpected and, in our case, unwelcome addition to what probably would have been a decent meal. At best, raw onions in a wet burrito might fall into the category of optional condiments, but that they would load up our burritos with a ton of raw, purple onions is just weird. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our food was hot (temperature) and served promptly, but at the end of the day, we found it inedible.

It was my first time ordering burger from “El Maguey,” but I originally wanted to order the special of the day (which is posted on their facebook stories) but I didn’t order it since it’s only made available during specific times apparently I was pretty disappointed since they NEVER specified time in their post and I waited to order around 3:00 pm thinking i’d be able to. I’m hoping they’ll do that soon since it would’ve been good to know beforehand. The burger was pretty good nevertheless. It was cheesy, juicy, and warm. I gave them two stars however because I was expecting more fries than what i got. Cuz man! They were STINGY WITH THE FRIES!! This order doesn’t include a drink, so c’mon. I have to AT LEAST get a good amount of fries for my buck! I don’t think i’ll order again, go to Super Burger next door ⭐️ ✨

Great service. Just be aware, you seat yourself and order at counter. But they do bring food out to you. Will review again, returning for tacos next trip.
