My husband and I love to share fajitas. We ordered the mix with steak chicken and shrimp. It came with lots of peppers and onions. The charred flavor was great, steak had a good flavor, and the chicken was tender. Added a side of guacamole, which wasn’t high on flavor but very thick, which wins me over. Also had a side of cheese dip. Their salsa was spicery than I prefer with chips alone, but yummy when added to the fajitas. We would go again if we lived closer.

Ate at a different Maguey last night best mexican I’ve had in a while!!!
Went to the Maguey tonight closer to my motel, walked in at 9:30 and they wouldn’t seat me and told me they are closed (sign on door and website said open until 10pm).
Sad deal. Snapped a picture of the restraunt from my car before I drove away. They may want to change their hours. I was really looking forward to eating there again.

They’ve been hiking their prices and eliminating items from the meals for two years, yet we continued to go there because it was a convenient option close to home. But there are a lot of convenient options close to home. So we go there tonight for carryout, which we’ve probably done over two dozen times in three years, and yet another item has been eliminated in addition to the price hikes and surcharges. Here’s the comparison and I hope someone can provide me with the logic in this: (1) eat in restaurant and get all you can eat free chips and salsa with your meals (2) order carry out and pay the exact same prices for the meals as if you had dined in, yet sorry, you get no chips and salsa with the meals. I told them it will be our last visit and it will. There’s lots of better options out there.

I don’t know if this is the same family/company that operates the El Maguey in St. Peters, but it is certainly not as good. Dined in there a few nights ago and they only had one young kid working as a waiter. He was polite, but was having trouble dealing with several tables at once. The food was very tasteless and no where near the quality of their St. Charles county locations. I will not return here and cannot recommend.

Popped in to place a carry-out order, was immediately greeted by a friendly staffer. Placed my order for a Chimichanga plate and it was ready in about 10 minutes. Delicious meal at a good price, definitely recommend!

Beware of surcharge.
This place do not mention about the surcharge. In general have seen the billing person verbally mention about surcharge when swiping the card. This place does not talk about it, they do not give the customer to review the charges and just goes to click ok to continue before the customer realize the charges, this was not acceptable.
