First time here. My ‘go to’ is a chimi. Not deep fried as far as I could tell – not crispy at all. Chicken was very plain. No spices, no additional ingredients. Chips ok, salsa ok. Service excellent- very fast, very friendly. Atmosphere is typical for mexican food.

Great local staple. Chips are light and crispy, I recommend the tacos Dorado and birria tacos. If you’re feeling adventurous, the molcajete bowl is fire! Colorful murals and Modelo on tap.

Came here Christmas Eve about an hour before close me and my mom were desperate to find a place to eat. Not only did we get great service,but the food was amazing and the staff wished us a Merry Christmas. It was very much a welcome experience.

12/07/23. We had dinner here tonight. Service was outstanding. The staff took care all my requests. Food hot and good portion. Love this place. The owner is the greatest. Thank you for your help.

An ok meal if you are on the Southside.
Generally, flavors were good. My fajitas were great. My wife’s burrito has good flavors, but was poorly wrapped and barely had any of the queso it was supposed to have on top. Chips weren’t stale, but were strangely brittle and bland.
Service was fairly poor. Restaurant was really slow, but the waiter wasn’t very attentive.
Edit: Tried this place again today. Got the mixed fajitas for two, which were actually pretty good. Unfortunately, we found a rubber band in our salsa. Shrugged it off, told the waiter and asked for a new one. Rubber band in that one too. Took it away and didn’t come back until they dropped off our check. As a rule of thumb, I don’t ask for or accept comps, but I *did* expect a manager or the waiter to apologize.

Owner is always rude. I come often, but as of yesterday (08/7/2025) I will not return. I cut into my burrito and a bunch of juice came pouring out of it; NEVER has that happen. I always order the same burrito and it’s never had so much of an oil watery and greasy type of liquid coming out of my burrito. I asked the waiter who happened to be the owner if they can remake it. He had an attitude and said that it’s already cooked. They can’t make another one. very rude about it, stated I come here often and it’s never look like that. He acted as if there wasn’t anything he could do about it so yes, I disputed the charges with my bank left no tip and left the restaurant. I will never return. seems as if they don’t want Black people in their establishment anyways.
