It was right after their lunch rush so the place was pretty quiet. They didn’t have pork chili verde so I opted for fresh homemade tamales instead. Excellent! Nice place to try it. The masa wasn’t dried. The sauce that came over it was delicious

Alambre, Alambre, Alambre! The steak Alambre was soooo good. Per the menu, a new addition to this establishment. Food all around the table was delicious. By far the largest “medium” draft beer I have ever been served. Would stop again in a heartbeat.

My first one starred review. I do this because if nobody knows about it and nobody starts doing something then they can continue doing it. So I went into El lauro tonight to get takeout place my food with the waitress at the counter and I told them do you still charge for using a credit card she said yes it’s on the door, now English is not their first language, so I say then I’m going to pay with cash and I will get a cash discount. She continues to ring me up and I do not get the cash discount she comes over and gets the other person who doesn’t speak English either very well and doesn’t understand what is going on and they continue to give me exact change and I was told just because the computer doesn’t do it means that they can’t give it to me. So in all in all they offer to do a cash discount so you don’t have to incur credit card charges but when you ask for the cash discount they can’t give it to you because the computer doesn’t do it but when you ask for no charge on the credit card they say we have to charge you because the computer does it. So which is it do you give a cash discount so you don’t have to worry about credit card fees or just continue charging everybody and forget to give everybody a cash discount and keep the discount for yourself and pocket the cash. Great Restaurant, salsa was flavorful and the chips were fresh. I had the taco special (ok 2 of them) I got asada and pastor, both were awesome. The waiter was very attentive and the restaurant was clean.

Food was good but the waiter was a rude weirdo for sure. My mom had asked for chips and he was motioning as if she was fat, saying “that’s a lot of food!” Most bizarre experience ever in a restaurant.

50% of my food were just pepper. Had to wait like 10 minutes to get the tortillas that I asked for. The table was dirty. The glass was ice full, so they charged me for the refill. The waitress doesn’t have experience with customers. No recommend, one of the worst Mexican restaurants in the area.
