Food was average but service is TERRIBLE!!! I had the enchiladas poblanos and three chicken tacos. Can’t complain about the food but Jesus Christ the service I mean come on. Asked for a water after I finished my margarita and the male waiter with all the facial piercings (not judging on them as I have one) proceeded to wait on other tables getting their drinks and I had to ask again. Finished my food and water sitting for a few while I kept noticing him going behind the bar and getting on his phone. He serves a table and as walking by just grabs the plate and cup. Just to return minutes later with the check. Decided I had wanted dessert but with service like that no thank you. Generally I tip good but tip are to reflect the service.

Got to try this place last night. What can I say it’s about middle of the road. I’ve had worse and I’ve had better. The service was great at the beginning, but then I was kind of forgotten about.
The rice and bean plate was better than most as the rice was near perfect if not somewhat cold.
The beans were awesome, rich dark brick red in colour, perfect consistency not runny and pale like some places.
Pico de gallo was fresh as was Gaucamole.
I ordered the Fajitas Del Mar which is the sea food version that has shrimp, scallops, fake crab and a slab of whitefish. All of this was properly cooked.
The letdown was the onions and peppers that were over cooked to the point of being almost mush.
The chips and salsa tasted good, just small sized.
In closing I will definitely be back here again at some point to try other things on the menu.
It filled me up and I even had to get a to go box and the portions of the Fajitas were generous.
Needless to say I could not fit dessert, but they do have 7 great options. Check out the pictures included with this review.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and we decided to stop in and grab some fajitas. We both ordered beef fajitas but I didn’t get beef fajitas and neither did he. It looks like chicken. But the michelada that I ordered was great.

HIDDEN GEM ALERT!
This place was delicious. My wife had the Fajitas Tropical, I had the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, and our 2 year old had a taco. We started off our meal with chips -n- salsa and quickly added some Queso Dip. The salsa was tangy, bright and refreshing while the Queso Dip was savory and creamy with a hint of spiciness. Also, they use a quality chip.
First, the Fajitas Tropical was what my wife ordered. I tasted it and I thought it was good. I could definitely taste the pineapple in the dish. I did think that it could have been warmer and more flavorful, but it wasn’t bad. My fish tacos, however…Wow! Each taco is about a 3-biter and I really recommend the Salsa Más Picante (super spicy salsa) to put on top. My plate was complete with 3 tacos and lime slices for squeezing. Do yourself a favor, squeeze the lime onto your taco.
The Fried Ice Cream dessert was basic, but good. I personally love hard-packed and hard-frozen ice cream and this dessert delivered the goods.
I did not use the restroom facilities, so I am unable to report about those. The wait staff were both friendly and timely. I barely had my lemonade gone when they were bringing another.
So, here’s the breakdown: The taste of my meal was phenomenal, a 10/10. The cleanliness of the restaurant was great, a 10/10. Finally, the value of the food vs. cost. I thought that the fajitas were a little pricey so I am going to give the experience an 8/10. Therefore, that’s a 28/30 = 93.33% = A.
I would definitely return and plan to do so soon.

Really good place best part for truckers like me It Only across the street of pilot flying J. This mexican restaurant have more of a variety than a typical Mexican restaurant just because it is authentic. It have more styles than one. I recommend it. Because some mexican restaurants only focus on one or two styles. Mexico have many states and every state may have their own style. Each state is known for a difference even tho mexico states have many similarities with each other.

Just a stone’s throw from I-35, this restaurant is a good pick for a sit-down table-service meal. Festively decorated, it has an extensive menu and full-service bar. There are a number of vegetarian options as well. We ate chalupas, a bean burrito, and chili rellenos. The sauces were flavorful without being overly spicy. Friendly service. We enjoyed our meal.

Food was good, service was lacking to say the least. There was 1 table when we got there, and they said they had to yell in the back to get someone. We finally got the waitresse’s attention and waited while while she swept the floor after she sat us to take our order for drinks. A couple eye rolls during our order and while paying makes me think twice about going back if we were in town, but the food was good and actually came out fast considering the other aspects.
