Flavor all around! Really tasty authentic Mexican food . I’ve had the fajita burrito platter, the corn tacos and the quesadilla birria. All tasty and plentiful. Try the queso with the house made chips and salsa! Delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I’d like to see management “polish” their atmosphere and facilities a bit more though..

New Years Eve 2025 was our first time ever visiting this restaurant. We waited 2 rounds of chips and salsa before ordering (wasnt busy – plenty of tables with food that needed bussed.) The only waitress messed up my husbands drink brought him a Bud light instead of Miller light(got corrected). Then she took our food order and went to next table to get theirs. Our food was correct but we asked for NO TOMATO. We got tomato. After eating we got our to go boxes…after 10 mins we walked up to pay. Was hoping for a great Mexican restaurant within 5 mins of our house but I will continue driving 30 mins for great Mexican food! I watched the waitress bus tables. I believe she was the cook too.. Will not be revisiting.

If I was on death row, el lobo dorado would be my last meal. When Jesus said we are gonna feast in heaven, He meant we gonna cater some Lobo Dorado. Hahaha fr the staff are always so nice when we go, even the young ones are super nice, food is great, everything is great. El MEJOR restaurante mexicano en Martinsburg. Hands down best Mexican food in Martinsburg… trust me… the other ones in town aren’t worth it. The spicy foods at Lobo aren’t as spicy as I anticipated, they are picante enough that my baby child and i can share, but my white husband can’t handle, so it is fine. It’s not too spicy – if that’s the case, then salt be spicy to you. Sorry. Great flavor. My husband likes that his food isnt a plate of grease like the other restaurants.

EXCELLENT restaurant. Best service I’ve received at any kind of restaurant in a long time. The food was prepared perfectly and was so delicious. Usually I find that today’s Mexican restaurants are bland and cheap – not El Lobo Dorado! The chicken inside my burrito could have been served alone, it was so good. The rice was quality. The dishes served with sauce were generously covered in sauce. They have both flour and corn tortillas, so specify which you want. They even have margarita TOWERS. I won’t be going to any other Mexican restaurants. You have my heart.

Food was good. The best cheese dip around. The birria tacos was better than Cinco de mayo. Their shrimp tacos were so bland though. Their rice was amazing! Prices were about the same compared to the other restaurants. The salsa tasted fresh. We really did enjoy the food. Service was slow but we only saw pretty much one man running the show. We are definitely excited to come back.

After a long day of work and being 25 weeks pregnant I’m drained and we just wanted some good food. The food was excellent and our server was amazing. She noticed I was putting my food kind of slow in the box (I have zero energy in the evenings anymore haha) and she swooped in without thinking to help me! My wife and I stopped in to try this new spot and were really glad we did. The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We could tell the team is still settling in, but everyone was kind and working hard to make things run smoothly.
