I had heard about this quant restaurant in glenside , first time customer. It did not disappoint . It is festive and welcoming! I tried the beef empanadas with flaky, buttery pastry with a delicious beef filling. I look forward to going back for the shrimp tacos… next visit.

Ordered pickup tacos and loved the colorful, quaint location. It has seating indoors and out. We ordered steak, chicken and ground beef tacos. The flour tortillas were not heated and appeared as if it came out of a package and served. The quality of the meat was nice; but it was under seasoned.

Some really solid Mexican food tucked away in a Glenside Alley. Some of the better chips I have had in more recent times. Great thickness and crunch. The veggie burrito was excellent. I appreciated that they have a vegetarian option for everything on the menu. Some of the better horchata I’ve had. Glad to have a New go to Mexican spot.

I appreciate the fact that they offered mole sauce, and al pastor entrees. The servers were friendly and helpful.

Excellent local Mexican restaurant. Non-chain freshly made and the prices were surprisingly inexpensive. We ate outside and had a lovely experience.

There is a new El Limón en Glenside and it is very good! The food was great, I had 3 tacos and 2 orders of fajitas one chicken and the other of steak ! It came out nice and hot and the workers were very nice and patient. I really enjoyed my time here.

I came here with my coworker for a quick bite. I just had two authentic sopes with topped – chicken and carnitas (pork) it was excellent! Next time I’ll ask for three sopes! Oh and the tres leches is the best I’ve ever tasted

El Limon is a welcome addition to Glenside’s food scene. The restaurant is cozy, bright and vibrantly painted. It has a varied menu and the food is delicious. We had the fajitas and the fish tacos along with chips and salsa/guacamole. Delicious. This is a great place for small groups of 2-6 people. During the warmer months, you’ll want to try eating outside on the sidewalk. They don’t have a liquor license but they do serve complimentary margaritas.
