El Limon is a small, cozy place in Bristol with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The food wasn’t too bad overall and the portions were decent, but it felt like it was missing some flavor and depth. A few extra spices or stronger seasoning would really make a difference. The menu is simple and the service was friendly, which I appreciated. It’s not a bad spot for a quick bite, but with a bit more attention to flavors, it could be much better.

Such a great place to grab some tasty and fresh food! Everything was so flavorful and the service was amazing. I would totally get the nachos as an appetizer and try a bunch of tacos too! Will definitely be coming back here next time I am in the area!

It seemed when the restaurant started the owner and/or adults were around more. Now each time we have gone in the service, food, cleanliness and restaurant atmosphere have gone down. There is usually one server. She is usually young too. We were in last week and the server took our order. What type of taco shells. 3/4 of us said corn. We all got small flour soggy shells. The 4 people in our group came down with the norovirus as well. That virus moves on contact surfaces. No blaming just saying there is no one supervising these young servers. We won’t be back.

This place is a GEM! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the decor was lively. The chips were perfectly homemade, along with the freshest salsa and guacamole I’ve ever had. The tacos were also fresh and delicious. And don’t skip on dessert !! The flan and the tres leches were perfect. Highly recommend this place, and we will be back!

The woman waiting on us was very nice and let us know where to sit etc. since I let her know we had never been here before. She made sure we knew certain things about the menu and what is nice about answering our questions. My daughter got tacos and I got a burrito. We also got some chips and salsa. The food was quick to come out and was very flavorful. There was generous portions but I made sure to eat every last speck of my meal… It was just so good! We got there a little later in the evening and we were not rushed at all but I would like to get there a little bit earlier and maybe get one of the bigger selections on the menu. Looking forward to going there again soon!

You could smell how delicious the food was from outside on the street. The dine-in portion of the restaurant was just a few booths and tables, but the decor was rustically charming, and the food was incredibly fresh! Additionally, I think it was the fastest food service I’ve ever experienced. Fajitas and quesadillas were fresh, hot and DELICIOUS, as were the fresh chips, quac and salsa and the flan! All around wonderful experience!

Amazing. While I haven’t had everything, the loaded nachos with barbacoa were fantastic. The margarita was surprisingly good too. I’ll be back soon for tacos.

Wow…was in the area. Strolled thru Bristol & found El Limon. Excellent!!!!! Food was awesome. Fresh and delicious. Nice portions & reasonably priced. Wish I got the servers name (sorry). She was so pleasant I’ll definitely be back & plan on introducing lots of my friends to this eatery!!!!

Nachos 4 stars, Chicken taco 2 star, service 2 star Atmosphere 3 stars. I went around 4 pm for a light dinner. I sat down and waited for a server and didn’t see anyone as I was the only person in the place. I pulled up the menu on my phone just so I could be ready to order when the waitress came over. After a few minutes I decided to call and place my order , that’s correct I ordered my meal from my phone and when she asked for my name I told her I was sitting at the first table. After a few more minutes I finally seen the waitress with my food. No apologies for me having to wait. The chicken taco didn’t have any flavor at all. The Nachos were a nice portion, lots of guacamole that was fresh and delicious, Nachos were homemade and on the thick side. I Iike them thick so it holds up to the toppings. Nachos were nicely done good job with that. I was asked 2 more times if I needed anything else from the waitress as they seemed to give me more attention. Bottom line is that I could have walked in when they were busy in the back and didn’t know someone has walked in. I will give them another try. I don’t know if I would order the taco again. We tried them again 3-10-25 . And this time we didn’t eat. We walked in and 4 tables were filled with dishes and needed to be cleaned. I asked them to clean one off and they did. As we sat there for at least 5 minutes and 2 other tables left and one table were waiting for the check. Another family were sitting across from us and they were there for 20 minutes and still didn’t get menus. A group of young men came in and they turned to walk out because no tables were clean, the server quickly cleaned the table for them and brought them menus. I had to speak up to get menus for us and the family across from us. The server took drink order from the men and came back and asked if they were ready to order. At this time we got up and left. Will never be back. I reached out to the email provided 3-10-25 it is now 3-14-25 and I haven’t received any response.

We were looking for a place for dinner near Bristol. The reviews seemed good so we went to try this place out.
When the 3 of us walked in, a waitress walked past us very frazzled with dishes. As we waited for someone to greet us, this employee cleaned patio tables and then walked past us again without acknowledging us.
A second female employee finally greeted and sat us in a booth with menus. After 15 minutes the second employee took our drink and food order. There were about 5 booths and 5 tables total inside the restaurant. The place was about 50% full.
We received our drinks 10+ minutes after ordering them…we noticed this was a concern at other tables as well.
We ordered chips, salsa and quacamole, which wasn’t bad. For dinner we ordered shrimp tacos, and 2 steak burritos.
The shrimp was rubbery, had no seasoning and was dripping in grease in a soaking wet corn taco shell. Three tacos total with a side of fajita veggies that looked liked they were overcooked, burnt and questionable as to how long ago they were cooked.
The burritos my boys ordered were bland, saugy, and falling apart when trying to eat it. Also lacking any seasoning or fresh ingredients.
Not a warm, fuzzy or inviting experience. The food was not fresh or tasty. The employees werent friendly and seemed annoyed by us being there (they didn’t close for 3 more hours). We don’t recommend this restaurant. Such a shame because the location is so nice and quaint next to the water.
All 3 of us were sick to our stomachs that evening. Enough said.
