This place deserves recognition. Their food reflected cooking expertise. The cozy space fills quickly with eager diners. Workers’ manner: outstanding. Alert and qualified. You’ll have no reason for disappointment.

Finding El Jocoreño Deli Restaurant has enhanced our local dining scene considerably. Workers here both welcome you and help you. Nothing here seems ordinary. Workers here balance efficiency with warm interactions. If nearby again, I’ll definitely return.

I used to live across the street from El Jocoreno, and had breakfast there every morning. I haven’t been there in well over 15 years. The food is still amazing and the nice waitress is still there and has been for the last 21 years. I will be going back next week.

We came in on a Sunday; called 20-30 minutes prior… we arrived and sat for 15+ minutes!!! Food was still not ready.

A small place, but with homemade food. My favorite is the delicious beef soup.

I was recommended by friend about this place. Place is small, people are friendly but the pupusas revueltas weren’t the best. I don’t know what it is, but they tasted old and undercooked. Too much pork smell to them. The rabo was very tasty thou. But I probably won’t be coming back.

The food here is amazing, and usually the service is as well. However, I did have a bad incident with one of the waitresses. I had ordered a soup and tamale with coffee. I had brought my reusable tupperware for my unfinished soup and was yelled at by the waitress in front of everyone. She said the soup was meant to be eaten right there, and the “to go” was different than the “dine in”, implying they give you a smaller portion for the to go. So, keep in mind that the waitresses aren’t afraid to embarrass you and give you less even though you’re paying the same as dine in customers.

I’ve been here at least seven times. And I’m never disappointed. Not only are the pupusas amazing and I’ve had it at at least five other places they are my favorite. They also have amazing breakfast the traditional El Salvadorian breakfast… words cannot explain mouth watering it’s perfect. they’re also very friendly the place is clean they also have great juices so also try their juices.I live in New York and I travel across the George Washington bridge just to go there That’s how good it is.
