I had a wonderful 21st birthday here! Brought my fazbear lol.
I almost always get the arroz con pollo (rice and chicken (with Mexican cheese sauce on it)) and it was fantastic! The servings are generous. I also ordered strawberry margaritas and was NOT disappointed. The servers were very on top of drinks and making sure everyone had a good time <3 they were friendly and the whole atmosphere was warm and kind.

The burrito california was delicious best green sauce I have had. The guacamole was perfect. The burrito could have been a little warmer. Strawberry Margarita was delish.

The waiter was super nice and helpful.

Finally tried this new place. Mixed reviews for me. Food was good, they had some impressive adult drinks and a full bar. Place was crowded and cluttered. No music playing.
Service was good. Friendly and helpful staff.
Fresh chips and salsa of course and they were great!
I wouldn’t mind going back but I’m afraid there are other places I’d rather go.

So first of all I ordered the veggie burrito on the menu which is a spinach and mushroom burritos with beans and rice. As you can see I can a bell pepper burrito with no rice and no beans. Perfect start right? Then the el jimador special with steak had literal bbq sauce on the steak like….. and the chicken from the enchilada. Non seasoned or cooked straight from a can. This place has gone to the complete dump. Used to be delicious with great service but the girl gave no care to the issues just said okay and giggled. How professional. What a waste of what was once a great Mexican restaurant.

It’s a good mexican spot if you live near TTU, it’s close and convenient. However, there’s definitely better food/restaurants when it comes to mexican food in Cookeville.

The service was beyond great. I had grilled chicken, rice and beans platter (pollo loco). It was delicious and the guacamole was amazing. Everyone has their own taste for salsa. This salsa was a bit bland for me. I requested the hottest salsa and mixed them. Definitely give it a try with great service and fresh tasting food you will not be disappointed!

Wife and I thought we’d found another Mexican restaurant we could go to, that’s not the case this time. We went in for dinner and upon coming in all these tables had what remained of other people’s meals, not a big deal understand people get busy. There was only a handful of people in the restaurant so we thought I guess this was something that we just missed rush of some sort. Well we sat down and eventually a waitress came by she took our order then she promptly went over and started talking to some of her friends that had come in. They were chatting away and she never took our order to the front. We sat there for like 5 minutes watching her talk to her friends and then another waitress came up and she said she would be our waitress. We told her that somebody had already come by taking our order but she was standing there talking to her friends. She said oh no she’s not even working she says. Okay meanwhile the other waitress is still chatting with her friends none of the tables are cleaned off. Well our food eventually arrived and it was barely edible. The food was overcooked to dry and really unpalatable. Seriously doubt will be back. To the credit of the waitress when we brought the food issue to her attention she did give my wife’s meal for free. It truly was hard to eat. And they weren’t busy seriously not busy.
