Went first for take out, then followed with a dine in visit. Yes I am a gringo from Yankee territory that was transplanted here, but I as a retired chef, I love food from everywhere, when its done right.
That said, overall my Google rating is 15/15, no my personal rating.
Again this is PERSONAL rating. They were 14/15. Service and atmosphere were top notch. Everyone there is amazing. They lose 1 star in the food category, FOR ME, based solely on the menu. For me, it is built for American taste. Their menu items are adaptations, built to suit a traditional American idea of Mexican food. I had the Birria Tacos (take out) and a combo dish of steak chicken and shrimp, which I turned into tacos. The flavors were there, but built around an American palate. That is not a bad thing, nor should you not go there. The do use the 2 biggest ingredients known to traditional Mexican food…LOVE AND PRIDE. Their Salsa bar (in house) is why ill never do take out again. Next time I go, which will be soon, im going to fast for 48 hours before, so I can take full advantage of my digestive system, regardless of cost. HIGHLY recommended!

We been dining here since they opened. Always consistent food and service. Today’s lunch was their new Baja Shrimp Tacos offering. Wonderful flavors with the Mexican cole slaw and fish sauce. Give it a try. Cold Dos Equis drafts.
7/5/25 update… We stopped for a late lunch. I had the Seafood Chimichangas. Tasty and filling. My wife had the El Jimador Fajitas Pacifico. Nice blend of flavors. Same excellent service, as always.

Been a regular here for over 10 years. New menu is awful, quality of food has taken a nosedive and they recently did a huge expensive bait and switch on tequila shots. Asked for Lunazul they don’t have it; instead of telling us that and asking what we’d like in place, they poured top shelf $28 each shots and gave us a $400+ bill. We asked them to call the police because we were not going to pay it. Police came and suddenly they give us a new bill at the correct price. Man I miss the staff that used to be there! This Eric guy is a complete scoundrel!

The food was pretty good and spot on with the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. It is more of a Tex-Mex flavor, but that’s not bad at all. The birra tacos are great, and the empanadas as appetizers were great too. Yet things are little over priced for what you get, fountain sodas are pretty expensive. Our waiter was amazing, and very helpful. Professional and never let our drinks go all the way down. All in all, we really did like it and again the staff is what you really go for.

Had a great experience here. May be our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is fun and the salsa is amazing. I would go there for salsa and chips alone. No complaints, only good beer and food to be found here.

We had lunch today food was good and came out correct and hot. Service today is what pushed this review from being four to being a five star. I would say that is one of the big reasons they are always busy and the parking lot is full.

The picture is the fajita azteca for two. The quality and taste of food is great. But the meal was not filling for two. We usually get more portions than this in other Mexican restaurants.

Finally got to try this place out. Went for lunch on a Monday and they were half full but service was so slow. Anthony seemed very distracted and we had to call him multiple times for drinks, chips, check. All tacos had grease going all over the plates and made a puddle in the middle. Taco salad had no cheese nor guacamole which was odd. After lunch was done we placed an order to go for someone at home but did not receive Chips or salsa but apparently we have to ask for that because we dined in but still paid the same price.
