Never seen a more disappointing mexican hot dog. Doesn’t even compare to the photos. Buyers be aware and you may be scammed. The corn tasted so damn old and we threw it out. Birria is not even birria – just barbacoa without any flavors.

What even is this. I paid $13 for stale nachos. Some of the most disappointing food I’ve ever had. I even asked the man “there’s more than chicken cheese and chips right?” And he said yes. He looked me dead in the face and lied. The chips are stale, the cheese is canned, it’s all just gross.

Staying at the nearby hotel Days Inn. Excellent service and awesome tasty authentic Mexican food at reasonable price. Jennifer was an amazing hostess.

Do not eat tacos here old hard meat had nothing but fatt in it like they dont take the time to clean their meat had a weird taste to em too it was horrible got some charros and they didnt even give me a spoon !!! Yeah dont even waste your money paid 32$ for some tacos that were just fat

I had midnight tacos on the night of the fourth of July at El Jefe. The owner is a very respectful and passionate man who clearly loves what he does very much, and it shows in both his service and his food. We had a massive wait because it was the fourth of July, and Galveston was packed, so he informed us beforehand of the wait and invited us to park our car nearby, and he would take our food directly to us. When our food arrived, he also gifted us an agua fresca because of the long wait, and was always nice and respectful.
Nit to mention, the birria tacos i had were the bomb, delicious, and had the perfect amount of spicy, those 45 mins were absolutely worth it! Also, I’m sure on any other night, the wait will be much shorter.
In any case, delicious food and great service, what else can anyone ask for?

This place had great birria pizza. I cannot speak highly enough on this pizza or the hibiscus tea. I would definitely come back here and definitely plan to come back here. The tacos my friend got looked fantastic and he got four different meat choices. There is a nice covered seating area outside of the taco stand in case of inclement weather.

My husband and I got the birriaramen and Birria quesadilla to split and share…..It was absolutely amazing, the portion size was more then enough for the both of us and it was so full of flavor! Im sad I didn’t take a picture to share but we couldn’t keep our faces out of the food 10/10 recommend!!

Salty greasy and I I haven’t ever ate a burrito with weenies in it and I can say I’m not a fan at all. The cheese on the tortilla didn’t really like it when I usually do, but today was just bad. I think they’re going down hill . ♀️ I ordered the elote too it was good just cold but it is a chilly night.

This is a good stop if you dont want to eat drive thru fast food. The service is great. Love that they have Mexican cokes, and the food is great. My husband and I ordered quesadillas (1 fajita and 1 pastor) not thinking they were going to be huge! It’s a little more cheesy than meat in our opinions, but over all great! I do have an issue since I’m not from here. The directions made me pass it since it’s a hidden food truck so that’s a downside. Should maybe have a sign closer to the street

This food truck is the best in Galveston! They’re open late, and their food is delicious. A family friendly spot right off of Broadway. A true hidden gem. The birria tacos are the bomb.
