I seen reviews and thought this place would be promising and was very excited to try their burritos and was let down. This place only opens during morning hours so you have to cone super early 5-10am. First bite i wasnt very impressed so continued bite after bite and the only thing i could taste is tortilla and potatoes. A breakfast burrito filled with egg, potatoes, cheese and meat of the day was bacon but the taste that filled with mostly potatoes so it was proportioned very well also lack of green chili sauce which makes a colorado breakfast burrito a real burrito not a potatorito which is the name ive given for this burrito. The burrito had very little flavor too. I wish i could have rated this better but it wasnt very good. Out of the 3 places ive tried this week so far this place is dead last. There are some people that i see that like it but its just not for me.
Update: i decided to give it one more try and this time it was much better there was nt much potato this time and there was more egg and green chili like i liked. Only thing i could complain about this time was halfway through the burrito it started getting pretty salty but hey no one can make it to everyones liking but i appreciate that he tried so i upgraded the rating to a 4☆ from the previous 2☆. Like with all my reviews i encourage everyone try the restaurants ive been to even if i gave them a bad rating because we are all different and have different taste and it might be good for you.

Wow!! What a tasty burrito! First timer at El Jefe and the flavor was incredible! One of the most flavorful, affordable, handheld burritos I’ve ever had. Nice work!! Will be back to try the sausage! I had the steak and bacon and it did not disappoint! $7!!

I’ve seen this company as a customer favorite on DoorDash for a while. I live a mile away and finally decided to stop. I’m so glad I did and I see why it’s a favorite! Incredibly tasty, these tortillas are to die for! Incredibly friendly, absolutely polite. Highly recommend and I absolutely will be back. Thank you for a great experience!

We tried El Jefe breakfast burritos for the first time this morning. Absolutely amazing! My husband had the sausage and I had the bacon. Both were fantastic and the tortillas were perfect. We will be back! Thanks El Jefe!

Didn’t realize it was a food truck ahead of time. The burritos were fresh and delicious, the guys working there were super friendly. It was very cold and windy and they were bringing people their burritos to their cars as they were prepared.

It says that he opens at 5 am and what it should say is that his trailer shows up at 5 am and he will be open shortly after that. The potato in my breakfast burrito was under cooked along with what tasted like a partially dried out store bought tortilla. I will say that it was nice that he brought them out to the car.

I woke up hungry and realized I worked next to the food truck. I placed an Uber order for pickup and was impressed with the amount of food you get for a fair price. Customer service is great. Will be going back when my back is feeling big. And they also accept tap to pay. I had to place an order on Uber because I left my card at home.

Why don’t you have your own restaurant yet? Best tasting and full of flavor. Burritos are filled with toppings and the chili is amazing. Best BANG! for your buck. Just one burrito will get you by. If you really hungry get 2 you wont be disappointed. Keep it up!
