Their menu is lame. Go online to their website for better descriptions of items. The food is good. It’s your basic neighborhood Mexican restaurant. We weren’t wowed by presentation, heartiness, or the food, but don’t get me wrong it beats all these other crowded places on a Saturday night! The service was excellent! The staff was eager to please and answered all of our questions. The meats were tender and well seasoned. The torta bread was soft as it should be and delicious. The chicken soup with dark meat is made to order so it took 20 minutes to be served. It maybe needed a tad more seasoning, but it was good. We plan to come back since it’s close by and quiet. Dinner for three people $58 and two bar drinks $17 w/o tip. If you pay cash, you get a discount.

We are becoming regulars here! The food is good and consistent and a decent value for what you get. It’s a cozy space, good service and great drinks – a variety of margaritas and flavors; I think their Micheladas are the best around (the mix and preparation is superb).

This was our first visit & we enjoyed delicious beef tacos, cheese enchiladas & beef nachos. All were fresh & full of flavor. The margaritas were perfect & refreshing. Very happy we found this gem close to home.

Our friend Dudley Johnson took Jose and myself to El Jarrito on Hardin rd in Magnolia. Great service from all staff. We had aguachiles aka shrimp ceviche with there spin. It has a a different kick but good. You can cut it up or eat it whole
The main dish we all had was the mojarra frita- fried red fish. And we are talking about a WHOLE FISH!!! It was fried well and crispy. It was seasoned well and the fins were crispy To wash it down I had jamaica(hibiscus). This jamaica nit as sweet as most places but who needs that sugar anyway. They have a bar so you could ask for a drink if you want it. Also noticed a small cute patio in front. But overall it was a good experience and the wait staff was amazing! I will return with my mom and whom ever is around.

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had!! Their deluxe Beef and chicken enchiladas are to die for!! I legit shed actual tears when I was eating my meal it was SOOO GOOD!!!
Don’t even give me started on their queso… you better be careful to not overeat haha!! There is not one thing that I can think of to complain about! Everything here is so perfect and I wouldn’t change anything.
Prices are very good considering the portions you get! Their beef and chicken are amazing in texture and flavor!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! It’s a beautiful family owned and operated restaurant❤️
