My wife and I stopped in here while visiting Southern Illinois and really enjoyed it. They did not have their liquor license when we visited , but the food was great, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. If you’re passing through Carrier Mills, I recommend checking the place out. We live a couple of hours away but plan on returning when we are in Southern Illinois again.

This place is fantastic and I would argue probably the best restaurant in town. They have excellent customer service, the food is fantastic, and the service is fast. We are not local to the area but visit probably 2-3 times a year and this is always a restaurant we go to 1-2 times in our short visit. We got the chicken taco dinner, cheese dip, and salsa to go. Honestly, you will not be disappointed. I wish we had places like this up north.
