Always an absolutely amazing experience here. I am always inspired to try new itwms in the menue and each time I am impressed. The prices are very good and the food is filling. The food isn’t the only amazing thing here the staff is absolute wonderful, ways very polite and quick. I will continue to come here.

I am happy that this little place is right up the road. I have tried a few things here. The fajitas and chimichangas back in the day were great so I am.sure they have done nothing but become even better.
Recently, I have been on a taco kick. They have tacos with your choice of meat but I get the 3 flour tortilla tacos, 2 grilled chicken and and 1 shrimp with cheese and lettuce…awesome for my taco cravings. The el Jaripeo nachos ARE A MUST TRY. I actually pay for the nacho dinner to have the nachos and split with the family…ITS a MUST. Even the picky husband loves them. When you walk in, its like a Hispanic art gallery with custom seats and tables that were hand carved and painted in Mexico. Beautiful! I admire it each time I go in there. The servers are so nice. Don’t let the amount of cars outside of there deter you as it is few because many people are living or working around there so they walk rather than drive. Oh and speaking of not driving…the Margaritas are big and strong but tasty. I get the strawberry mango margarita on the rocks, the husband gets the original margarita on the rocks. You can expect that with each entree can be an average of $10-15 add some drinks and for a decent drink and meal combo maybe an app, expect that you would spend $20 per person. You you will be happy and full! I cannot wait until it is warmer again so I can experience their patio and random bands that play there.

I wouldn’t waste my money on this place. No flavor they are stingy with their portions. It also stunk like a sewer and the cashier added her own tip to my receipt an I disputed the charge.

Not impressed at all! I should have known when there was no one in the place at 5pm. My rice was all color, dry and no flavor. The chicken on my taco salad was not proportionate to the amount of veggies dumped on top. Not to mention my grilled onions were burnt and left my whole taco salad tasting scorched. I asked her if it came with guacamole and she said yes, guess what didn’t come on my taco salad. Not only was the meal Terrible, it cost more than my normal restaurant! Next time I’ll take the trip to El Campesino!
UPDATE: I called the store to let them know how dissatisfied I am with their food and I was told there’s nothing they can do. No offer to remake it, Credit or refund!! Please don’t eat here unless you like poor food quality and service.

This place is an absolute gem. Humble and positive staff. Cool scenery and culture music that passes all vibe checks. If you get a chance please order a Strawberry Margarita and a Birria taco. Compliments to the chef. I been coming since there very first opening day and watch the develop into a stable and beautiful mom And pop shop.

Whenever I’m in Canton I stop in. Good food. The closest to what I got in California growing up. The young woman that helped us is very warm and friendly as well.
10.22.22 Somehow even better than the other times visiting. Same fantastic service with a smile, and delicious Mexican. Ask for your tacos with the yellow corn tortillas.

Loved it since it opened. it’s so delicious went there today with the kids. The ladies are very nice, and quick. Usually dine out but it’s so nice inside and cool ac. My little one enjoys the bench sits with the beautiful wood design on the back. If you enjoy the outside you can eat outside on there beautiful patio that has plenty of room and shade.
