My husband and I had dinner here on Wednesday night. The restaurant looks like an authentic Mexican restaurant and the food didn’t disappoint. We were immediately seated when we arrived. There were some people dining inside but a lot more people outside dining. We ordered the steak fajitas to share and decided not to order cocktails. The fajitas were delicious and the rice and beans that came with the plate were delicious. There was PLENTY OF STEAK for the both of us but, the plate only came with two tortillas and we had to pay extra for two more. Overall this was a great experience and we will return.

This place is delicious. Service was great. Prices are a little higher than most other Jalisco style restaurants, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Chilaquiles especiales were awesome.

Meals and coffee served in traditional clay style dish ware.

Another good spot and Mexican food for Bulverdes standards. Ordered enchiladas and they were good. Great atmosphere and service! Definitely a 4.5 spot just because the taste is to preference and the salsas lacked spice. But I think they’re catering to the the area! Stop by and give them a shot and pick up a couple of Jarrito mugs, they’re the best!

The food was 10/10 delicious we tried their Spanish rice, which was different but great, the menudo (amazing) and Barbacoa tacos. The Barbacoa was fantastic, not too oily/fatty, great flavor and seasoned well. The Menudo was flavorful and very obviously made from scratch.

We are going to make this our Sunday spot from now on.

The kid playground was perfect to tire our son out for the ride home.

We’ve been here several times… Love that they have the outdoor seating and play area for the kids which includes a playground and a large pavilion also. This is the draw for us. The drinks are great here along with the food. It is a little pricier than similar places in San Antonio but that’s kind of the norm in the Spring Branch area. We’ve had molcajetes here twoce because they’re that good 🙂 Mini tacos were good too as well as the hamburgers, can guisada, chalupas, and breakfast burritos.

Pass: Cheese Enchiladas, queso.

I used to love this place! Thought it was so cozy and great food. Before I mention anything, the service is wonderful, the servers and hostess was extremely well mannered and nice!
The food is way over priced, $4 for an extra basket of chips, ordered fajitas which were hot and good, but ordered extra rice and beans to share the for 1 with my mom, but gave my niece the kids meal quesadilla, in which we only ordered the quesadilla nothing was said about rice and beans, those rice and beans could have been our “extra.”
If anything, the sewage smell outside is awful!!! Septic doesn’t need to be blamed, everyone has septics around here, so that needs to be tended too, because it’s right there at the kids play area and just a major turn off.
Atmosphere is good, but I thought the dining area was dirty, and saw 2 carts of dirty dishes in the dining which is gross to look at while eating, as well as the bathroom just seems run down. Again, used to love this place so I’m sad to write another off our list, esp with the enclosed kids area and the cute patio.

Fantastic food, we stopped at 2 pm and ate a late lunch. Highly recommend the mini tacos, not a huge fan of their queso but it was okay (just picky about my queso). Their salsa was a mild spicy that was a perfect starter.

LOCATION & SERVICE EARNS THIS 5 STARS !!!
A beautifully updated clean building with plenty of seating indoors or outdoors on the patio. Nice big parking lot a children’s playground & live music. It’s a relief to have such great service! Attentive & friendly staff in the dinning area and a quick kitchen crew who executed our meal perfectly. Fantasic well stocked bar . We’ve lived in the area for 3years now ,moved up from deep south TX and I’m so happy to have amazing Mexican food again !

Overall a fair experience. Food was OK. Service wasn’t that great. Staff not very friendly. The ravel parking is a big turn off. They do have a nice outdoors sitting area. A typical Mexican food menu. This restaurant is quite new so hopefully things will get better.
