The food was horrible. The carne asada smelled rotten. My wife said the rice and beans was ok but my 2 year old refused to eat it ( and she usually eats everything when we go out to eat ) it’s very rare I see my daughter turn down food but she did at this place . The sprite I ordered was flat. I am from Miami ,Fl and know what Mexican food is suppose to be like. . We usually ride to Greer and visit our favorite Mexican place santanas but tried this place as we just moved to Simpsonville and was hoping to find a closer spot. No!!! We will take the 25 minute drive to Greer next time and get some good food. The waitress was nice but then charged me $70 for 4 beers , a sprite , and a couple plates of food that were horrible. It is dead silent in there with no music playing. When food is good and the atmosphere is good me and my family will be there weekly and leave a great review but when the food is bad we will never return and this is a place we will never return

My food, I had the enchiladas, was alright. My son had the shrimp fajita,it was too salty for him to finish . My granddaughter got the cheese sticks and fries, some of her fries were not done.

Update: March 17, 2024. Such a shame! Just lowered my rating from a 2 star to a one!. This place could truly be a goldmine, but the workers just don’t care! Wake up you owners!!! The people you have working for you are going to put you out of business!!! THEY JUST DON’T CARE!!!! Please look at your reviews! Yeah, I know, they’ve all been there for 20+ years but you’ve got to learn how to MANAGE these people and get this place where it should be. The food is just terrible! The beer is bad too because they don’t clean the tap lines! Very important detail for good beer! Please get your act together and this place will flourish! If there was any real competition in five forks you guys would be out of business. Please get it together!
Owners: Please take this feedback sincerely. I don’t want to criticize, but you have so much potential being the only “real” Mexican place in five forks. Great bar area and cool looking place inside. Not sure what the problem is, but the food and service have so much room for improvement! Please taste some of the food that goes out to your customer’s tables. I live in the five forks area and, unfortunately, I’ve only eaten here maybe four times in the last five years because the food is just mediocre. Because of this the wife and I will drive a little further to go somewhere else. It’s like the cooks and staff have just given up. No real passion for cooking good, fresh Mexican food. Please go and eat at one of your competition’s places and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. You guys could really pack this place every night with some serious changes. Please stop being just mediocre when you have one of the best areas and so much potential for a really great Mexican restaurant! Put out great, fresh Mexican food and great customer service and you’ll pack the place!

We ordered take out for a couple of families and mistakingly didn’t get all our orders during the first trip. Fortunately, we weren’t staying far from the restaurant and when I called back about the missing orders the restaurant was apologetic and comp’ed us a couple of quesos and chips. I thought this was a very nice gesture and hope to dine at this restaurant in person at some point.
