Went here tonight, with my friend and cousin to celebrate my birthday!! Got here at 8pm and stay pretty much to closing. Hahah..it was all of our first time there…the food and service was great!! I had ordered the dinner enchiladas. Two beef enchiladas and extra rice, sincerely I don’t eat beans. If you are ever in the McDonough, Ga area… definitely stop by.

I have been to this location different days at different times. *chefs kiss. I make guacamole from scratch and there’s is at the top of my list for where to order. The flights are always super cute. I add a stronger tequila as the house is exactly that, house. In the middle of the day it’s a cool atmosphere to grab a meal with friends. I’ve went with family for dinner and enjoyed myself. I’ve been to 2 birthday parties in the big area connected to the patio. Most importantly, they have an amazing DJ that has been on point with music, karaoke, and even leading line dancing. 10/10 experience

I ordered through GrubHub. My enchiladas were cold. There was not enough tomatillo sauce. I asked for no sour cream & received sour cream on both my salad & the side for the enchiladas. The salad was anything but. A little bit of lettuce, a whole lot of green pepper and onions, sour cream that I didn’t order.

Tonight was the worse we’ve ever experienced with this restaurant. The service was terrible. We got there at about 6:30 and it took our waitress 15 minute to get to us. We ordered drinks with her and it took about 20 minutes before we stopped her and asked about our drinks. She proceeds to ask us if we ordered drinks with her and we told her yes! She said she didn’t have them in her notes when we then gave our order and magically she remembered. She came back about 10 minutes later and tried to tell us a story that she didn’t know who drinks they were because she didn’t see any receipts near them. She took our orders at the same time. It took about 30-40 minutes and us motioning for her to come over before she told us there was something wrong with the machine but it was her fault. We then asked to have our order cancel and just paid for the drinks. We spent over an hour there with no food before we left and went somewhere else. I won’t be back.

Dear El Jalisco Management,
I am writing to formally share my experience at your Jonesboro Rd location.
Before placing my order, I specifically asked my server whether the cheese dip was watery or thick. She assured me it was thick, but when it arrived, it was watery and not as described. I politely asked if I could exchange it for another dip and even offered to pay the difference. My server stated that the manager would not allow it.
When I requested to speak with the manager (I believe her name is Monica), she came to the table and reiterated that no exchange could be made, even with me offering to pay the price difference. At that point, I asked for my check so that my party and I could leave for another establishment.
Before leaving, I asked the manager for her card or contact information so I could follow up with upper management. She refused, asking why I would need her information, and declined to provide her name or contact details.
As a Customer Experience Manager myself, I understand that the customer is not always right, but I also know this situation could have been handled very differently. A simple willingness to listen and accommodate would have prevented a negative experience. The dismissive response and refusal to provide basic contact information reflect poorly on your brand.
I strongly suggest that this manager receive coaching on proper customer service etiquette. Based on this encounter, I will not be returning to this location, and I will be sharing this experience with others.

We went about 6:30 July 13, 2024 no wait no reservations a party of 3. The drinks were good. The food was delicious. So many choices of drinks and food. The server was ok. The restaurant is beautiful with beautiful up to date decor. Everyone said their food was delicious. I had the birria tacos platter, other had lasagna and the other had enchilada. Everyone was pleased with their food and drinks. Will definitely recommend and come back again.

What a cool little place! The food was decent, the atmosphere was great and the service was outstanding. We had Mariano, and he was very attentive to our needs; checking in on us often and making sure we were comfortable. I had the enchiladas, which were very good. They make their shells from scratch and while it threw me off at my first bite, I was definitely pleased. They were really good. My husband got the street tacos and said they were good as well. We will definitely be back the next time we are traveling.

Food – 10/10 They have a lot to choose from on their menu, and we ordered a couple of basic things (too much time between my visit and this review. I can’t remember what all we ordered), and we enjoyed everything we ordered. I tried their spicy margarita and it was really good. They have a very extensive drink menu and I’ll definitely be back to try their towers and margarita flights.
Service: 10/10 Rudolfo (again too much time between visit and review, I’m pretty sure this was his name. He was very attentive and gave some great recommendations. Will definitely be back!

This was my first time and I loved it. The frozen mango margarita was perfect and the food was delicious. I want to try the table side guacamole next time. That’s a nice touch that most Mexican restaurants do not have in this area. The desserts were more on the mediocre side but I enjoyed the mango cheesecake for what it was. The fried ice cream was very bland so my friend and I did not enjoy it at all. Otherwise, I love the decor and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back but I may think twice about ordering desserts.

Been here 3 times already and I really enjoyed every single one of them. However, what made it special was the wonderful service given to us by Ana Paola! Bless her soul and her cheerful attitude. Had asked for here on my other 2 visits. Super attentive and dedicated plus a good Bartender! The drinks are out of this world. The food is pretty awesome too! And my daughter really enjoyed their dessert! I will definitely be back here! And if the Boss read this, say thanks to Ana Paola! Yall hit the lottery with her!
