The handwritten updated prices look so tacky on the menu that I’d rather have a paper menu.

Cleanliness is not where it should be for a restaurant.
Food is stretched to thin. My chicken breast was more like a flat pancake that had way too much seasoning. Beans and rice were middle of the road, not very warm either.

We decided to try this restaurant while we were in town. The wait staff was very efficient. We did not have to wait for a table. The food was good and more than we could eat. Loved the decor.

Twice I’ve visited and ask the water for cow tongue! He happily obliged both times. Today I ask a different waiter and he informed me that they don’t have cow tongue they’ve never had it. Don’t like being lied to. I’ll never do business in that establishment again

12/5/2025 was my very first time eating at this restaurant and I was seated almost instantly, my drinks were at my table within minutes, the food for my wife, my child and I was at my table within FIVE MINUTES! Fully cooked and fresh almost unbelievable. I Will definitely come back to El jaliscos to dine again!

New menus portions size went down still good ***the carnitas dinner was my favorite .ordered every time for a year almost .last night June 29,23…order it again! Now 14$ and it’s 3/4 onions and maybe 3/4 of a cup of pork for dinner? The server asked how it was I said “ besides this is barely any meat and 3/4 onions it’s fine!” His response? “So sorry “ and walks away. They never came back to the table-no more drink refills,no little tablespoon of meat,had to ask for the check???

I’ve attached a photo of what the menu says Pina Loco should be, however, it is not what I received. I received no bacon, no chorizo, but they substituted without asking me, the cheapest hotdogs on the market. Lol.. That ruined it for me. (I’ve had the pineapple fajitas in the past that had shrimp and it was great. The photo from that review attached itself to this one. I would have ordered it again, had I seen it on the menu). Hit or miss is what you get.

Pretty consistent quality and service every time we visit. The only complaint is that the chips came put with a few nice ones covering a bunch of crumbs.
Update: Early dinner visit today. Great service and great quality again. Highly recommend the Chori-queso.
