Friendly and efficient service!
The steak/shrimp quesadilla was a great portion size and delicious. Salsa has a nice kick to it as well.

Food was great.
Brought out to us in a timely manner.
Friendly staff.
Very helpful.
My dad ended up spilling some tea, and they were very quick with trying to help us get moved to another table and even at my request remade my food due to tea spilling in it.

Great, Friendly, & Fast. I’ll def. Be back.

I went to the new location after work one Sunday evening. The food was good. I had the Birria tacos! A solid 10/10! My salsa was served in a to-go styrofoam container. The music was way too loud. It’s almost like being in a club. I did not like that. I don’t think the seating area was thought through. Hopefully, they’ll get new booths and tables in the future. The older location was better. 6/10.

I guess I needed a reminder why I stopped coming here other than them losing one of their best waitresses Mel. Buyer beware!!! This used to be a great place to dine. Since new management took over service is in toilet. The pictures will tell you better than I can: Reduced portions (by half for same price), no substitutions allowed (I wasn’t told this until after I placed my order.), no concept whatsoever of customer satisfaction, plastic ware instead of silverware, and the straw that broke the camel’s back cold food = DONE AND WILL NOT BE BACK!

Not one to usually do this but for the health of you and your family avoid this place. Went in 45 minutes after opening and sat there for a solid 10 minutes to get drinks. I had to go out to my vehicle to bring my drink in just so I could have a drink. As I was walking out the vehicle the cook came out from the kitchen to get the drink order for the others at my table. It wasn’t until AFTER our order had been taken by the cook that the one and only waitress on duty comes in. No apologies for the wait, instead we get spoken too as if we were an inconvenience for being there. Extremely rude.

Now let’s get to the “food”. I use the term loosely because what I was served wasn’t even edible. Not sure what they are using for ground beef but it didn’t taste, smell or look like ground beef. The chicken in the quesadilla was so dry and bland. By far the most disgusting food I’ve ever been served from a restaurant. Worse than McDonald’s. Zero seasoning.

Did I forget to mention no service.

Anyway, after leaving here to go shopping me and the others that ate here started feeling very sick to our stomachs. Wrapped up shopping to get home where myself and the other that ate there proceeded to get violently ill.

Not sure if this is the standard for this place but I feel as though the owners deserve to know what’s really happening at their establishment. Too many good Mexican places around here to have such horrible food AND service.

My pregnant wife myself and my 5 yr son went here for lunch to celebrate our new baby on the way. We were ignored by our waitress for the majority of the time. Having to stare her down to even get the check or To go boxes. I asked for a beer on draft and I was brought a bottled corona while every other individual in the establishment was brought a proper draft beer. Our food was left waiting on the kitchen window and brought to us separately with 20min between each of us. Even though ALL OF OUR FOOD WAS ON THE WINDOW. The entirety of the time the waitress was just flirting with the cooks in the back paying no attention to the my family. Worst severice I’ve had. Period.

Waited a very long time to try to El Jalisco’s. There are so many good Mexican spots in Montgomery that it wasn’t until I moved close by that I felt the need to try them. Nothing was inedible but boy was I really sad that nothing was great. The highlight was the Agua Pina with honorable mention for the choriqueso. The taco being the worst and the chicken quesadilla and the chicken flautas, that the menu said would be beef, tied for second worst… Which is my whole entree. Server was nice but awkward, building has seen better days, the first person I saw didn’t speak, but the decor was nice. Wouldn’t flat out refuse to go back but I certainly would recommend other spots close by. Paid $30 after tip and it wasn’t worth that.

Our first time visiting since moving. Food was amazing. Took a little longer to get our food. But I could tell it was fresh. Definitely worth the wait. No complaints at all! Also thank you for singing to my son for his birthday. It made him feel so special!! Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed visiting here.. Unlimited nacho chips starter with home made salsa! Their orchata is the best! Anyway, comparing to other mexican restaurants nearby.. Food is delicious and prices are decent with its serving size. 1 order can be for sharing actually. Servers are really friendly and their service is really great! making sure that your visit will be worth while. I’ve visited here twice with my husband and some friends and will sure to keep visiting. Try their Cheese dip ($3.99), Orchata ($2.19), Shrimp adobe ($13.99), El Jalisco Quesa steak ($10.98).. Liquor is kinda expensive ($9.99).
