El Jalisco is a convenient, less then 5 minutes off the highway for travelers when heading North for the weekend or driving South to the Twin Cities. This was our second visit and we were happy to find the food and service are consistently wonderful!
My husband and I had the Parillada Fajitas and our daughter had the Steak Street Tacos – we were all very happy with our choices. The dining area is on the smaller side but they have made good use of the space. El Jalisco offers a wide variety of food and a full bar. On our visit, they were pretty busy but service wasn’t lacking and our food came out quickly, hot, and delicious!
I look forward to returning and would recommend El Jalisco to my family and friends.

I had a great lunch at Jalisco today and everything was very fresh and home made. The chips were crisp and the salsa was some of the best I’ve had. My meal was chicken and chorizo with beans and yellow rice.
This is one of the best Mexican meals I’ve had.
The restaurant was very clean and the service was first class.
We stopped here on a trip to northern Mn to our lake place. It is easy to get to and worth the stop. Prices were reasonable and portions were such that we have another meal in the fridge. My wife had Flautas and her meal was just wonderful.
I will make this a frequent stop on our trip to the lake from the Twin Cities.
