listed we have a dairy allergy and they put dairy on half the dishes we ordered.. i guess they’re not aware that’s literally grounds for a food establishment to get closed down for good? allergy management should always be checked in on by the head chef sending orders out and consulted with by the manager to double check, at least that’s how it’s worked at every restaurant i have worked at. they didn’t even offer any consolation when i told them they gave us dairy. i told them it was ok and just keep the few dishes they made with dairy and they don’t even have to replace them. they were fine with that. lol. of course free money cuz resellable takeout dishes. the male manager (idk his name as he was very hard to have a convo with) did not even offer any consolation or say sorry he just kept a straight face the whole time as if i was the one doing something wrong to him. and even when i first went in to pick up the order i was shocked there was 3 bags cause i thought the sides were ordered were much smaller and i said whoa and laughed then hes like yea. “ya. that’s a lot of food man.” with a monotone voice and without smiling or laughing or anything then just walks away. like at this point you should be happy anybody orders from your restaurant bro put down the ego

Used to love coming here and I was a regular but one night they messed up my order twice and gave me too much attitude about it making it seem like I was the problem. I absolutely will NEVER be back. Had they just resolved me issue it wouldn’t have mattered. 4 waitresses came to the front giving me attitude when I just wanted them to fix their mistake.

1st time here. Staff was very nice & friendly. Asked server for meal ideas recommend very good dishes. Food was fresh, fast, & delicious. Best Mexican food I have had in while. Drinks was good & on point. Prices was definitely worth the experience.

absolutely terrible. i ordered a large queso to go last night. it was obviously watered down. i stuck it in the fridge overnight and it is now the next morning and it is basically water. it doesn’t even taste like cheese. not to mention every time i order one the price magically changes, last time i got 2 for $20 and this time i got 1 for $20 this place is extremely disappointing.

6/26/24- Update to the update: Wow! Unfortunately This Time Was Not A Good Experience. We arrived for Wednesday Lunch. Not busy Maybe 10 other persons total. Luckily I asked if the $1 Draft beers were available and sadly the answer was NO! The White Board with All of the “Specials” was altered. Now the “Special’s” Aren’t So Special. $2.50 a beer. Many other dishes also went up.
Okay, we still ordered the 2 item Combination plate with 2 Chile Rellenos rice and beans. We asked for the hotter salsa and after waiting about 15 mins. We finally got it when our meal arrived.
Management – Please Update your Google maps webpage to include the New Price Hike. That would help your customers a lot.
Our waiter didn’t tell me the plate was extremely HOT . He casually set it on the table and of course I burned my fingers moving it. The waiter had an attitude and ruined our dining experience.
Owner – I suggest Wiping the specials white board clean and ReWrite everything Clearer. It’s hard to read, even up close.
I’ll update again to see if you really do care, like you say you do, and see if you accept my recommendations and make the changes.
Recent Update: We had to go back with a friend to try the $1 Draft Beer and $1Tacos. Pleasantly surprised that the beer is one of my favorite beers Modelo. I went with the dark and my wife and friend went with the amber.
We ordered 6 tacos – 3 soft shell chicken and 3 hard shell beef. They were huge and totally delicious .
Right before “Happy Hour” ended (2-7pm) we ordered another round of brewskis and a soft shell chicken taco To Go (para llevar)
We had a blast! TY Karla for your excellent service. It was a little busy but you handled your tables well – NO Complaints! .
$30 bucks for everything and $10 tip!

Finally decided to start rating local Mexican restaurants. We’ve had pretty bad luck and were sorta jaded.
Fortunately for us, El Jalepeño didn’t disappoint.
The Saturday “Special” was Pitcher of Margarita on the rocks. Couldn’t pass that up! The waitress recommended the #43 Fajita platter. She’s On Point Delicious!
We topped it all off with Xango for dessert.
Total $43 bucks. + $5 for dessert. $12 tip!
Still, Worth Every Penny!

Was in the area of this restaurant so tried it and now I will have to make this one of our trips as it is an hour from home!
Our server, Marcella, was the best! She recommended #79 burrito w/shrimp, chicken and steak and red, green peppers with a bed of rice and white cheese sauce over it! Omg! It was amazing and so much food I couldn’t eat it all!
My husband had the #45 fajitas w/ chicken and steak! He loved it!
The portions are enough to have some for lunch the next day!
Wish there was such an authentic Mexican restaurant near me!

my friend & I ended up there for tacos & when I tell you we had an amazing time. The vibes the food the service were all 10/10
very welcoming, very busy, fun music, amazing servers. Sat us quickly with smiles They handed us each a basket of chips & salsa just so sweet as if they knew we were celebrating.. they were fun & service was crazy fast! when I asked for horchata he smiled & came out with enormous gontlets & said they whipped them up just for us! I came from Texas & I need horchata & tacos alwaysss especially with her it’s become our thing & this is our third state getting tacos in she’s traveling on her newest adventure & drove 8 hours to stop through, so we feasted I said soft corn tortilla but I got hard & I don’t even care because they were just what I needed I love a shredded beef taco & it was great crunchy! I always get my pollo con crema if they have it & it was bursting with flavor, the Rice & beans were CHEFS KISS my friend asked what our server suggest and she got it and it is being the Texas burrito or Texan I can’t remember but it was so fitting that’s where we got tacos last together! She loved it! Our food came so fast too. We also brought food to her husband & he said it was the best burrito & rice he’s ever had! Nothing but good things to say here. The guy with his shirt that says El chilango was our server
