Excellent tasty food, service. I tried their arroz imperial and pork with congri delicious. Clean place and staff is doing an excellent job helping customers. Their prices are affordable for big parties, I drive from west Kendall to hialeah, I wish they opened with these prices here at kendall.

The service is bad. I made a question to the owner and he answered with a great ill will, without paying me the slightest attention and without even looking at me. The attendants are less bad. The restaurant is disorganized. There is no explanation of how to order the food or how it works and how the dish is served. The food is piled up and arranged in a way that gives the impression that it has been there for 2 weeks.

One star because the scrambled eggs were TOO salty and my “café con leche” was prepared with powdered dairy creamer instead of the evaporated milk I asked for. Went because it was “Cafecito con René”, something offered by the Commissioner of my area, Senator René García. Considering it was jam-packed, the waitresses were absolutely lovely and smiled. I did notice that even at the early hour there was a large selection of hot food available.

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve been coming here for good home cooked Cuban meals for the last 25 years. Everything on the menu is amazing but my favorite is the Lechon asado, moros and fried plantains plate. Great affordable prices and they also cater for parties and events. They’ve catered a few parties for me through the years and it’s always been a smash!
