I ordered menudo and asked for flour tortillas, and the cashier said yes. When I got home, I realized she gave me corn tortillas, and they’re very hard I can’t heat them up.

I got asada fries for like $17-18 dollars (can’t remember) but what I do remember was i couldn’t believe how heavy it was unopened (like at least it felt like 2lbs+) and when opened it was literally half fries and half ingredients of like beans, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole and etc. It was just darn delicious and very filling for two portions. If you can finish the whole serving in one go, I’ll think you’re a youtuber or something because it was a lot of food and I hope businesses like these stay open as “forever” as possible.

This place use to be good years ago. Today the prices have skyrocketed and the quality is terrible. Today against my better judgement decided to give it a last chance with the classic carne asada nachos and they were terrible with a ball of meat like a meatball and extremely small quantity. After years decided to never eat here again! Wish i could add a picture.

First time ordering from this place, honestly will be the first and last time I come here, I’ve had many nachos from different locations for cheaper better quality and tastier than these, I would assume nachos need to have cheese but just a sprinkle of it is insane to me. Not much meat more of just tomato and beans with chips. I ended up throwing away because the taste was just not my cup of tea. Definitely regret wasting my money on these but it is what it is. I’ll be sticking to my taco food trucks. I’m surprised this place has such high ratings…

One of the best hidden gems on Figueroa and 32nd. USC
Mexican place that serves the best menudo and burritos. Build your own burrito here.
Place is very popular. Once you taste it, you will know why.

This place use to be good years ago. Today the prices have skyrocketed and the quality is terrible. Someone else said this and I agree…. se pasan con El pico de gallo wey serio… Couldn’t taste the chicken. The torta bread was burnt to the point I almost broke a tooth. Ik y’all can go back to the bomb food.. I mean it’s gonna take hella work pero si se puede… talvez se puede?

I want to address the experience I had with my order today because it was completely unacceptable. I ordered a burrito bowl, and not only was it made incorrectly, but the way it was “fixed” made the situation even worse.

First, the staff made my bowl as a burrito, even though I clearly ordered a bowl. When I asked for it to be corrected, they simply dumped the contents of the burrito into a container, which resulted in a bowl that was missing items I paid for and requested—no rice, no extra cheese, and the top was filled with pico de gallo, even though I specifically asked for no pico.

I only wanted sour cream and guacamole, and I asked for them on the side. I was told they “couldn’t” put it on the side, but when I opened my order, I discovered they didn’t include either one at all. When I went back to ask for it, suddenly they were able to put it on the side.

This is extremely frustrating, especially because I am a regular customer. It’s disappointing that the more you frequent a restaurant, the more careless the service becomes. This experience was one of the worst I’ve had, and as of now, I will not be returning.

Good service and consistent food quality should never decline just because a customer becomes familiar. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened here.

You already know… went here for burritos and tacos ahead of the SC vs Bruins finale last weekend… it was my twin daughters very first time. They are hole in the wall Mexican connesuiers TBH. In short, an iconic SC take out spot… we ate right at the red picnic tables tables to the side as we were walking directly to the game afterwards. Top Shelf – give it a try!
